Bought an Instant Pot during Black Friday sale. Tried this recipe today. Turned out amazing . Served with phulka chappatis. Hubby loved it. Keep up the good work.
I don't typically write reviews for cooking videos, but, I've been dying to visit Delhi and have choley bhature. Thanks to you know what, (F*k you corona) this year has been a real painfest. Today, I decided to quit wallowing and find myself an alternative. I watched a crapload of videos and finally picked this one (the choley looked as dark as I expect). this recipe gave me an instant fix! One bite and the memories came flooding back!! 😍😍😍. I'm never making rajma adjacent choley again in my life. Thank you so much!
Thanks. Info for non-Indian vegans: ghee is not vegan. Use vegetable oil instead. This turned out finger-licking good, truly, but my chickpeas don't turn out dark brown like yours. I skipped the tea leaves, so I was wondering whether it's the tea leaves that give them the final blackish color?
Your recipes are the best! I don’t know how to cook Indian food, my chole and rajma turned out perfect thanks to you ❤

Indian food is the healthiest, most flavorful cuisine I’ve ever had.
This has been the only Chole recipe I have used for a few years now because it is the best one.
Great to hear! :)

Thanks Bhavika! Yes the brown color comes because of the tea leaves added.
