It's because majority of the people are drawn to singers who can belt and pop singers. In other words they like the mainstream better. Tingnan mo lang ang musical theater natin. Sikat ba? Lea Salonga needed to go to London first to do Miss Saigon para sumikat sa atin. Pero before Miss Saigon, hindi siya ganon ka sikat sa atin and according to her colleagues Mechu, Lea is almost ready to give up theater then Miss Saigon happpened and according to Lea's own words she already planned her pre med and med school before Miss Saigon.

I first heard this song during the funeral mass of the Late President Noynoy Aquino sang by Jaya. Since then i often play it..The first time I listened to the versin of Dulce all of a.saddened tears flowing.in my eyes.may be because of the passionate rendiion of Dulce. And when I want to listen it agajn.I search on RUclips that's when I stumble.upon your video and got me curious on how this male version plays compare to the version of Celeste Legaspi, Dulce and even to Siperstar Nora Aunor .1I don't Iike the vesion of Jaya because she sung it impromptu during the funeral mass of the late President Noynoy. But when I'm listening to you I feel like I'm in heaven " para akong idinuduyan" you give justice to the song . Your not.popular yet when the Late President Noynoy died so if you was the one singing it in his funeral I think you give more justice to the song. Since I stumbled into your version in RUclips I often play it. I don't watched " It's Showtime" that why i didn't know you. Congratulations 🎊
