I have a similar story from the last time I went to Japan (and it was Hakone related too). 2008, I took my two young daughters and the missus to Tokyo, Hakone and Kyoto (of course). From Tokyo to Hakone, we caught a couple of trains and a bus. The problem was in booking the bus, whoever at the ticket office must have made a mistake and pointed us to the wrong bus, as we ended up in the wrong Hakone. We sit there and get to the end of the line. The driver looks in his mirror, sees us still on the bus, and we're wondering if this is where we get off. He comes up to us and asks to see our tickets. Not being able to speak English he motions to wait and runs off. He comes back with his boss, who looks at the tickets, sees we need to be 20 minutes up the road in a different Hakone. She motions to stay put, has a couple of words with the driver and we start off. She then explains that she'll take us there, no problem. We ask how much it'll be and she says no problem - no charge. We get off the bus at the stop and she points us up the road where the Yoshimatsu Ryokan is. We thank them both profusely. And then as they bugger off, down the road comes a minibus from the Yoshimatsu - they'd also rang ahead to let them know we were coming (even though we only mentioned the Yoshimatsu briefly) and to pick us up. Every time someone says about "what's Japan like" I retell this story as it sums up everything nicely. The Yoshimatsu was amazing too - lovely friendly people and truly a wonderful experience.
They require more info and days for deliveey to airport. They must have enough time to ensure it would arrive on time even with unexpected delay, because customer flies off. It would be too much risk for them in case luggage would get lost and added day or two delay getting it so they just refuse to take luggage in, if there are not enoigh days left. Worked in hotel, we sent it often, always explained guests have many days are needed, otherwise we could not take it.

I took my wife and my 2 year old daughter on a grand trip in March 2023, and we went to Seoul, Korea and went to Japan to visit Kyoto and Osaka. Crashing after eating - it's the carbs/sugar! You'll find it doesn't happen if you eat a meal of just protein or very low carb/no sugar. Since switching to a low carb/keto lifestyle I don't get any crashes after eating anymore, so much more productive at work! Rest of the office is completely wiped out after lunch lol. No brain fog or lethargy either and wake up with so much energy, ready to go for the day, my eyes just pop open now! It's seriously amazing.

#FaxMachine Hello Chris and Pete, My husband and I had planned to make a trip to Japan in the New Year but unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you view it) we have a new addition to the family arriving which has meant we'll need to delay our trip. Everyone who has listened to at least one ASMR from someone that a bit of Japanese in their life knows what fuwa fuwa means 😄 It's like the #1 trigger word in these videos^^
6:04 Well because without an IP address, it can't communicate over TCP/IP which means no LAN (ethernet) or WLAN (Wifi). You could use other communication protocols like Bluetooth, Zigbee or USB, but then you would need other devices that use that protocol which might be way more expensive than a standard ethernet switch and I don't even know if these protocols have enough bandwidth for something like an 4K SD recorder 😅 That's why nowadays most industries switched to the TCP/IP standard. The "forgetting the IP address" issue can be resolved by increasing the lease time at the DHCP server (a device in the network, usually the router, acts as a DHCP server and assigns IP addresses to other devices) to something like 3600 seconds aka an hour. You could also use fixed IP addresses, but that makes adding devices to the network more troublesome.
that was truly above and beyond what that hotel lady did for that Canadian family! Why do you still pronounce all Japanese words like a foreigner who just got off the plane and had no prior exposure to Japanese?

We live in the age of driver updates for every damn device, hence the various devices that connect to the internet. Also to stop crashing your sugar, eat more lean protein with your meal, reduce fat contents.
Onomatepoeia in Japanese are weird and hilarious, most of them are /really/ hard to discern from sound alone since they sound nothing like what they are describing. BTW, hope you've checked your levels to rule out possible beginning diabetes or something
