- I painted on an OLD canvas in this video! Seriously, I painted a thin layer of burnt sienna on this canvas over a year ago intending to use it for a floral painting. That obviously never happened! While I wasn't particularly in the mood to paint florals on this canvas over a year later, I did have a LOT of art ideas. So I mean it when I say this... what you see will be a surprise! It was a surprise to me too when I went into it, haha! I hope you enjoy this, and I hope it inspires you to create something too! You're also more than welcome to paint with me! :)

I love that you're painting during your pregnancy, so you can tell your babies they "helped" you. It sounds kind of silly, but my boys love all the artwork I did while I was pregnant. I tell them I was thinking and dreaming of them. ❤ Now to start a new cross stitch to gift to my newlywed friends. 😊

I love to listen to your vlogs while I sketch in my sketchbook but I don’t dare look away while you are painting. Every time I do I look away for 5 seconds and when I look back BAM a whole masterpiece appears 😍
Ha ha! I can totally relate. I’ll get distracted and look back and am like woah how did that happen lol.
Omg. I didn't create anything but I did relaxed a lot. And it gave me the inspiration to actually create something so. I'll be doing that
I'm in the same boat right now. Art intimidation is a real thing, like writers block.
That painting is so cute. 3D looks as if you could just pick that croissant up off the canvas and munch out on it. I love that. Happy painting!

When my son was first learning to talk, he would call a croissant a "ker-snot."

Wow, that's way more realistic than I expected. It's a bit magical--the glass, for example, looked like nonsense, and then all of a sudden looked great.
I worked on coins for my fantasy world--dragons and such =)
Hi Myra!😁 while you were painting, I decided to paint as well:) I used watercolor and did a Washy tape border, then put a bunch of purples and blues and blended them all together so it kind of looks like a galaxy!… Lately I’ve been obsessed with this watercolor sketchbook I got from Hobby lobby:)) The brand is Marty’a Touch and it is covered in gray, faux leather if Anyone is interested😋

I know this might be jumping the gun and I know you're about to have not one but TWO bairns, but I REALLY hope you get a shot at being part of youtube's smallest art collaboration. As soon as I heard about it I had you pegged, but maybe it would be an unfair ask considering the task you are about to undertake. I didn't create art *during* this video, but I did just finish making the trunk and branches of a gigantic tree in Minecraft, and there were... So many branches... Made me almost never want to place another block, but I have to finish the leaves! It looks so cool though, I'm happy with it.
Your painting is so beautiful! The blue lines were indeed a nice complement to the orange tones of the glass, the orange, and the bread!

This painting turned out so lovely. I wouldn't have the patience to paint a croissant... at the very least I would paint it with icing and sprinkles. I have a bit of a colour obsession and have a really difficult time holding back from using all of them.

Hi Mira! I loved how the painting turned out. Currently, I am doing a paint by number that we got at least two years ago and all the paint was dried up but thankfully it's waterbased paint. It's been really fun to do that and watch your videos!

I'm learning to oil paint Bob Ross style and after an intense 3 hour session yesterday, I needed a carefree no-stress creative session today so I'm drawing multi-color cartoon character cats with markers and Neocolor water-soluble wax pastels 😊

Watching this video while I work on a pen and ink drawing I've been working on for a while now. It's a larger drawing with lots of roses and a skeletal hand, I am liking how it is going so far.
Also, I saw your painting on instagram before watching this video and OH MY GOSH it makes me wish I didn't have food allergies and could just wander into a bakery, haha!
The Book Loft! OMG that brings back memories. I've used Golden Fluid acrylics in my airbrush. All of their line is high quality stuff. I have recently taken up watercolors and gouache. Definitely finding your channel inspirational.
Oh my goodness, I didn't know you can use their fluid acrylics with an airbrush. Thank you for saying that because I got my husband an airbrush for Christmas, and he's been trying out different paints. I'll have to pass that info along to him! That's cool you've taken up watercolor and gouache. What's your favorite type of stuff to paint? 💜

I've been working on a organic flowing shapes in acrylic while watching. Playful colors. I'll have to check out that shop in German village.
I'm doing Sketchbook Revival for the first time. It's only day 2 and my mind is already being stretched by all the possibilities. We played with mixing watercolors in ways I never dreamed and new colors just popped out at me.
Well watching I was working on a reference sheet for my ocs , I did this on my iPad. Your art is really inspiring ^^

Hey, Mira! I love your art so much! Its so cozy! Im currently trying to use oil pastels to draw a fish i wanted to paint. I couldnt find a paint brush or water container so im using oil pastels that i was given a few years ago lol.
I wasn't creating at the same time, but I have been working on some potential future merch for a couple of snake and reptile channels I hope to make.
Basically, I love snakes, and I love watching people interacting with their snakes. These channels (Clint's Reptiles, and Snake Discovery) do so much for reptiles, both wild and captive. One of the biggest messages out there is to always get captive bred animals when expanding you family. It keeps the hobby more sustainable, and leaves the wild populations in the positive. The designs I'm coming up with are about supporting the buying of captive bred. I don't want to give away exactly what it is because I don't want anyone to use my idea just yet, but there are some adorably silly looking snakes in my sketchbook ^-^.
