I have a Ruby Necklace and it is the easiest and fastest thing to propagate! I trimmed mine and made a 6” pot for my mom in no time. They root up fast in water. They get really long roots fast.
That makes me so excited!

I found a White Night at my Walmart in Moline, IL today! They looked really healthy and the variegation was pretty good on all of the ones they had.

I gave my lithops to my boyfriend I couldn’t look at them anymore 😂 they’re in a cute planter 5 in a row in his south facing window. They’re really happy with him - I’ll never buy them again 😆

I found some Ruby Calathea AND Calathea Musaica for $12.50 at our local grocery store (H‑E‑B in TX). I only got the Ruby bc she’s my 1st Calathea so I should make sure I can keep it alive.

I felt like I won the lottery when I found a large manjula basket at a lowes almost an hour away… I had been on the hunt for months and months as well. I had purchased the small ones in the fall but they rotted. My hanging basket however is soooo lush and full. The new growth the last 2 months has been 🙌🏼

Ooo…I have a Manjula on my list too! I had been checking for months for a Chameleon ZZ and finally found one. On the hunt for a pink princess and White Wizard now. There is also a new variegated Peace Lily called Diamond Jet. Looking for that for my daughter who also loves plants and Peace Lilies.
So many good things to search for!
Split Rocks are cute, but can be a little weird. Lithops, however, I love!
There’s a Home Depot near me that doesn’t get a lot of traffic - they had TWELVE global green pothos $20 pots the other day. I bought one for me and some as gifts. I was shocked. Love a big box surprise 🙌🏼

I love the Lithops, they are so unusual and you only water once a year so they are a challenge 😊

@@houseplusplant I've had mine for about 3 years now and I water roughly once or twice a year. I also have them potted in substrate that is 95% tiny rocks + 5% dirt so they REALLY require complete neglect.

I wish someone would do a video showing a marble queen, snow queen, and manjula side by side. I’m sure most people can easily distinguish between them but I struggle, especially when looking at pictures online. Most of the time they are unlabeled in the big box stores around here 🤷🏼♀️

I had two living stones for over a year. One sit and had a baby. Eventually I over watered and they both died. But I’m a fan and I’ll try again.

The “fake flowers” on the cactus are so you can grab it to transplant then discard rubber ball.

Fly traps don’t catch fungus gnats, you want sundews or butterworts
