    I like the date window. If you’re not looking for it you wont see it, but if you look for it you’ll see it :)

    This watch just about has it all. The tiny round date window is totally unobtrusive and not a problem. The dial, case, and bracelet, and movement with 70 hrs power reserve, is quite a good package. Very good work Seiko.

    I understand it’s a sapphire crystal… Could anybody tell me whether it’s a ceramic bezel?

    Another reimagine, reinterpretation, reinvention but with a wart.
    Seiko chose to relocate the peep hole because of the ISO rule of a lumed pip at 3'oclock.
    Down goes Frasier. Human's don't like blemishes. Its worse when they are designed in.
    The 143 is more elegant.
