She was defeated by an indian king shatrabahan near sindhu river
Buri tarha se Hari thi.
Sahi kaha mere bhai
But she was brave women, and India respects Bravery. I'm really a fan of her bravery. Indian king was not a even a big Empire like Assyrian but still he fought and won. So I have respect for both. 🙏🏽🕉️🇮🇳
Shamuramat has never been to India.
@@mikloscsuvar6097 Go Chake Out Some Real History "✌️
Great as she was. She lost two thirds of her army against the Indian king, Stabrobates (Satyavrata).
'She ruled Asia effectively and added Libya and Aethiopia to the empire. She went to war with King Stabrobates (Satyavrata) of India, having her artisans build an army of false elephants by putting manipulated skins of dark-skinned buffaloes over her camels to deceive the Indians into thinking she had acquired real elephants. This ploy succeeded initially, but then she was wounded in the counterattack and her army mainly annihilated, forcing the surviving remnants to re-ford the Indus and retreat to the west.[21]"
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semiramis
Yes but being a women she fought with bravery👑 Indian culture respects Bravery & women
Semiramis was a great empress. But she lost to an Indian chieftain (Not even a King). But it's understandable. But her remaining conquests were amazing.
True. Funnily, her attack wasn't even recorded by Indian writers of their time. Similar to what happened about Alexander. This was impressive to watch nonetheless.
@@samvsist5535 Thats because Indians never recorded a battle they find to be not impressive especially when a local chieftain fight with an opponent however big he is.
@@phoenixj1299 Or simply there were no records of such battles taking place in India. Under Cyrus the Great and Darius the Great of the Achaemenid Empire they conquered all the way upto Jhelum river, which means most of Pakistan and all of Afghanistan fell under Achaemenid territory, at the time this was Indian territory. The persians talk of India and the kingdoms in it a good amount, they even had a large Indian population in their empire who were either from the conquered Indian regions or were traders. Indians were even enlisted in Persian army. But there is not even one record of the Achaemenid Empire by the Indians, that dosent make any sense. There are many records of large empires like Nandas in India but none of foriegn powers. The Achemanid Empire had a population of 44% of world and 50% of world GDP per capita with 2.3 million soldier army (10 times the size of the Nanda Empire one). This was one of the greatest superpowers to exist yet India has not a single record of it? That dosent make sense. Nor did Indians record in detail Alexander invading and breaking past the Indus. But then everything changes after Mauryan Empire comes to power and in detail foreign empires are described, the Selecuid Mauryan war is the first we get of foreign invader refferance in India from that time. So it seems prior to Mauryas, Indians simply didnt record history that well. Cause you really cant omit an Empire like the Achemanids who had a 200 year presence in India.
Its a myth. There are no written records of this fight.
If there was a fight b/t the two it would have had been recorded since all indians rulers like to brag about their victories.
@@phoenixj1299 the real reason was after invasion over India our history was brutally disturbed by Mughals.
Semiramis was defeated by a small Bharatiya king or tribal chieftain Raja Satyabrata or King Straboutas, when she attacked Bharat.
This story touched my heart, may our queen “great Shamiram” rest in peace for ever
Thank you for sharing your experience
You gotta be kidding me. LOL
Mesopotamia is the homeland of the Assyrians. The famous royal cities of the Assyrians, Ashur, Nimrud (Kalhu), Arbela, Dur-Sharrukin and Nineveh were built in it. The Assyrians ruled for approximately 1,300 years - from about 2000 B.C. to 612/10 BC - in northern Mesopotamia (now Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey), an ancient landscape between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers. A clear reference to the existence of the Assyrians, on the other hand, can already be found in the Old Testament (1st Book of Moses 2:14).
There it says:
* “… the name of the third river is the Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates..." ❤️🤍💙
Proud to be Assyrian
What an amazing historical figure! The real Queen Semiramis ruled the throne 811 - 806 B.C. until her son became old enough to take over. And, no, she didn't marry her son. It was her legacy that enticed Alexander Hislop to unite her with Nimrod - who lived thousands of years earlier, tarnishing her name and her legacy.
Wow beautiful, my name is Sumiramis, my Mom watched an Arabian movie in Cuba when sje was 15 yrs old and she said that would be her girls name, so here i am with a slight misspelled vowell as I'm sure after many years she forgot correct spelling and its alright..
Before i knew about my name origins, I've always felt a great Spiritual pull towards, Egypt, Syria, Peesia all Meditarranian Music aswell Food and History, after many years one day in an spiritual Holistic Store i see in a small pamphlet my name but with an E, Semiramis..
I Truly believe in Reincarnation having such Deep feelings in my Soul about this places, finding myself being a Strong Warrior a Defender for those that don't have a voice, Love Kids yet don't have any of my own Yet, I can Truly say this is something i would do indeed no questions asked a Lioness alright. Hahaha, I'm glad you only "almost" made yourself sick. Stay healthy! :)
My biggest dream for a time now is that someday they will make a great epic film of this fascinating woman and let the whole world know about the courageous true story of this queen that she was and not this nonsense about her being the wife of Nimrod
I want another Fate Grand Order Full Anime Series with 20+ Episodes
The legend says she fell in love with the Armenian king Ara (nicknamed the handsome). This legend is still loved in Armenia, and the figure of Shamiram (one of the ways of calling Semiramidas) is one of beloved in the Armenian art and poetry
That's not true. they say that but he belittled her as a woman and said she is not fit to lead then she marched the Assyrian army and took the entire kingdom of Armenia and started hanging people by their tongues if they spoke ether their language or ill of her. She cut off the head of the Arminian king and hanged it at the entrance of their city.
Thank you
She also had what we'd call good PR spin today, "marketing" herself as "Mother of the King", so as to be seen as supplementing the King, not displacing him (or the position).
I’m a proud to be Assyrian ✝️♥️

That's why Megsthaneez said Indians are too proud of their history. That's why we got tort*ured and dest*royed by invaders because of over proud things . Indica book by Megsthaneez was right about us. That we don't share our knowledge & we thinks we are superior. God had punished us.
Respect for the Bravery of Assyrian queen from Bharat🇮🇳👑We respect bravery🙏🏽 I'm being sorry , Indica book by Megsthaneez was right about us. That we are ignorant and over confident people because we won most of war that's why we don't know how to respect other's history. That's why god punished us & our culture & history got destr0yed by invaders. 🇮🇳as a Hindu I respect Assyrian queen bravery and also respect Indian king both🙏🏽

so the story that we Armenians know about SHMAIRAM & ARA the handsome was just legend ????? or is their any realty ??
Myth
Легендарнии Арарат Тушпа ван
What happened to Nimrod and Kush
That's in myth only. This is the story about the real Shammuramat, which gave birth to the myth of Semiramis :)
Nimrod and kawsh his father have absolutely nothing to do with this and less. That fraud was made up by a stupid dead Scottish Minister who pulled it out of his ass and fabricated stuff out of nowhere warzone Godless sinful agenda and darkness in conspiracy which he's been overexposed on. Time for you to wake up out of this darkness and come to reality even Bible wise.
Semiramis is married to king ninus different king to nimrod of the Jews who's based off the Jews of post Babylon and king Nebuchadnezzar same with nimrod's friends terah esau abraham jacob and sarah.
Most a lot of the figures of Genesis of the Hebrew Mythos actually supposed Babylon and influence by Babylonian people and tails and up late Babylon. And their forebears ham shem and japheth have Babylonian origins and influence same with noah and lamek.
She sounds awesome.
I looked at this and I thought it was nimrods wife mother
It begins with why, Simon Sinek.
Yeah, but more from a personal perspective rather than organizational. More "why" in terms of purpose. To do what is seemingly impossible, or keep going when it gets tough :)

This story the way this guy tells it is missing names and has holes. She eventually married her son Nimrod.
Forgetting to mention that this is all mostly a legend.
Not Shammuramat, but Semiramis, yes.

What a horrible and reprehensible idea. This sort of thing is very horrible among the Assyrians. This form of marriage existed among the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans.

I think you very much, and I’m proud of you to bring this up. Good job … Why. Is the word we always ask and always we thought about it , and Why we still scattered all around the world away from our beloved country. We gives the knowledge to the world , and inspired other people , we are the cradle of civilisation, and we still scattered. We have the flag , we created the alphabet And the writing, we have the knowledge and we don’t have the land, it is few questions left to ask , how & when we will have have our land back are we waiting for another Shameram to fight for us? Why? we do have them they need help.
