Don't recall which team beat us, but we paid them some millions to come to our house and whip our tails. I've bled RAZORBACK BLOOD for 52 years and it's really flowing now. Last year was a turning point and now we are BACK!!! When we hired Pittman, I was a little confused. Who in the hell is Sam PITTMAN??? Well now we know!!!!!!! Welcome to the SEC TEXAS!!! Also have lots of close friends and my brother went to Arkansas also, so I have no hate at all for Arkansas. Good win today for you guys but I guess the upside for us is you exposed a lot of our weaknesses this early in the season so we will have to identify and fix them. Just wanted to say that we as fans are thankful for what you do and referencing the above mentioned video, you are NOT crazy for creating HawgSports. I know tonight reassured you of that and I'm happy for you along with the rest of the state, being able to remember what stamped that Hog in our hearts for eternity. Still alot of work to do but this coaching staff's mentality and work ethic will not fail us. The buy in has to be at an all time high and as more and more depth rolls in, the accountability/blue collar/get better every day mindset will have us challenging for conference titles. WPS!
I haven't been this excited about Razorbacks football in years! I had a gut feeling, after watching Coach Pittman's introduction press conference, that he was the guy Arkansas needed to bring the program back to respectability. I'm glad I was right! My daughter is a junior and experienced her first Texas game , we told her about the history of the rivalry and she was pumped like we were in the old days!! I’m so glad these kids got to experience and attend an awesome game !!

I can't even begin to describe the feelings of pure joy watching last night's game and loving what coach Sam has done for the program and state. Oh man I can’t speak this morning. I couldn’t yell anymore at the 4th quarter lol. I have never experienced anything like that in Razorback stadium. I hope the players felt the love from all the fans!
This Reminds me of The 1981 Team, I Was on, That Beat #1 Ranked Texas, With ALL That NFL Talent, At Then Razorback Stadium 42-11. This Brought Back Fond Memories ~ I Also Played High School Ball At Miami Oklahoma and Our First Game My Senior Year Was, The Grove Ridgerunners With a Very Talented Running Back Name Of Sam Pittman, A Class Act Then and a Class Act Now ~
Three things from the game of note: 1) The game was won on the line of scrimmage. This was not even a possibility ever since...well, the last time Pittman coach here several years back. 2) Trey only touched on how many lucky breaks we got during the game. The almost muffed punt, the 44 yard field goal that grazed the inside of the upright, the four or five times that Texas' starting QB missed wide open receivers that prolly would've scored, etc. Good to have but wish we could've saved some of that for conference play. 3) I hope Odom doesn't insist on sticking with a 3-man front for the rest of the season. SEC teams adjusted to that last year and scored at will against it, e.g. Mizzou. It worked last night but mainly because Sarkisian made his QB change too late late. Sorry to end on a negative. Been a while since I was proud to be a Hog fan.
Man I did the exact same thing in the upper deck in the last 5 minutes of the game. I just closed my eyes and buried my face in my hands. I teared up, man. I was just thinking about how miserable the last 7-8 years have been. It was almost hard to let my emotions go in that moment Woo pig, man.
Those guys looked very good. If they stay healthy and together we're gonna suprise some people who are on the fence about us. Last year we made people take a second look and we scared a lot of teams too. How about those backs trying to one up each other with their play. Giving those guys an opportunity to show their stuff paid off big time, I would keep them rotating in and out to keep teams on their heels. That was nice seeing those different styles of running. Adding a passing attack will make us dangerous for anybody

My daughter is a junior and experienced her first Texas game , we told her about the history of the rivalry and she was pumped like we were in the old days!! I’m so glad these kids got to experience and attend an awesome game !!
As an Aggie I couldn't be happier seeing you guys kick the crap out of t.u. Deep down I'm a bit of a Razorback fan with fond memories as a kid seeing games played between the the two schools in the early 90s. I hope you guys build off this. People seem to forget that Arkansas has the potential to be great. It wasn't that long ago Petrino had you all rolling. Best of luck this year and I'm looking forward to a hell of game in two weeks.

Sam Pittman, 2021 National Coach of the Year, after leading the Hogs to a 10-2 record. After tonight's performance, I see Georgia and Alabama as the only blemishes. WPS!!!
If that happened, we would play more than 12 games because we'd be in the playoffs baby. And then we'd probably lose both coordinators.
Hogs played well, but don’t jump to conclusions. I’d say 6-6 or 7-5. And I’d be happy with either one.
I’m still guessing 7 wins and a fun bowl game win. Bad things happen when hog fans believe too much in ourselves.

I long for the days when we fans had reason for that kinda joy an love of & for the program here at USC. The Pete Carroll days are but a distant memory now, SADLY. Again, so very Happy for y'all!
Thank you for a nice tribute. I can attest to the Pete Carroll days having attended the 72 game in Little Rock and watching USC carve us up 32-10.
I can't even begin to describe the feelings of pure joy watching last night's game and loving what coach Sam has done for the program and state.
I wanted to see our program become good again before I croaked and sincerely hope you can experience that happiness again with USC before your time is up.

I've had the opportunity to be at some barn burnin' games and the whole state will be remembering this one for YEARS! Coach Sam is printing up leather "I played in...." jackets right now. "You played in that game?, well I remember...." A game like this one lasts for years. Sincere congratulations!!

I Also Played High School Ball At Miami Oklahoma and Our First Game My Senior Year Was, The Grove Ridgerunners With a Very Talented Running Back Name Of Sam Pittman, A Class Act Then and a Class Act Now ~
I was at that game! It was one of my favorites ever. I sure wish I could have been in the stands for this one.
Three things from the game of note: 1) The game was won on the line of scrimmage. This was not even a possibility ever since...well, the last time Pittman coach here several years back. 2) Trey only touched on how many lucky breaks we got during the game. The almost muffed punt, the 44 yard field goal that grazed the inside of the upright, the four or five times that Texas' starting QB missed wide open receivers that prolly would've scored, etc. Good to have but wish we could've saved some of that for conference play. 3) I hope Odom doesn't insist on sticking with a 3-man front for the rest of the season. SEC teams adjusted to that last year and scored at will against it, e.g. Mizzou. It worked last night but mainly because Sarkisian made his QB change too late late. Sorry to end on a negative. Been a while since I was proud to be a Hog fan.

Man I did the exact same thing in the upper deck in the last 5 minutes of the game. I just closed my eyes and buried my face in my hands. I teared up, man. I was just thinking about how miserable the last 7-8 years have been. It was almost hard to let my emotions go in that moment

Those guys looked very good. If they stay healthy and together we're gonna suprise some people who are on the fence about us. Last year we made people take a second look and we scared a lot of teams too. How about those backs trying to one up each other with their play. Giving those guys an opportunity to show their stuff paid off big time, I would keep them rotating in and out to keep teams on their heels. That was nice seeing those different styles of running. Adding a passing attack will make us dangerous for anybody
