They stayed up...success. Both win! My best friend & I both had our husbands pass away. Every Christmas we tried to build gingerbread houses with our kids, and they never would stay up, causing frustration from hell and nonstop laughter. She then also passed away in a completely unexpected medical situation. Seeing me sad missing them all these holidays, my twin sons said, "I bet in heaven the gingerbread houses stay together when you snap your fingers." I hope so. This year here on earth we're sticking to decorating flat gingerbread men.

I would have liked to see you guys put the gingerbread houses together, many tears have been shed, and hair pulled out when I've attempted to make gingerbread houses from scratch. I'm a baker, I can make souffles, cakes, pies and Croquembouche. But gingerbread houses do me in! 😁 🤣
