PLEASE READ: Below are corrections regarding Enchanted Arms and Battlefield Bad Company, also clarifying what I mean by the image qualities being enhanced for all the games. I'm genuinely sorry for anything I ever mess up and get wrong, I'm 100% a one man show so anything and everything is done by myself alone, including research and fact checking. CORRECTION: I was wrong in the video about Miyazaki directing Enchanted Arms, because there’s a second director named Miyazaki that’s also made games at From Software! Dark Souls and Elden Ring were directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, while Enchanted Arms, Metal Wolf Chaos (2004), and Armored Core: For Answer (2008) were directed by Masato Miyazaki. My bad Lol 😅 ADDITIONAL CORRECTION: Battlefield Bad Company was NOT the first console Battlefield game with a single player mode, it was actually Battlefield 2: Modern Combat in 2005, I didn't originally play either one so I was duped by Google/Wikipedia lying to me on that one, it literally says that Bad Company and Modern Combat were each the first on their own pages at the same time right now 😑 Finally, to further clarify about backwards compatibility resolution enhancements, all I'm referring to in the video is the fact that the image output resolution is upscaled to 4K, that does not mean the NATIVE image has been absolutely enhanced (only some automatic and basic additional filtering that makes it look nicer, but not an actual native overhaul) an example of a 360 game that recieved native graphical enhancements was Fallout 3 with its Xbox One X patch which gave a new 4K native image quality boost, whereas Fallout New Vegas did not receive that so it still maintains its original 720p native image rendering with only the standard upscaled output up to 4K resolution along with those extra filters. So when I say that the game's image quality is generally improved, that is going to pretty much always be the case with these games running on new Xbox hardware, it's just a matter of how MUCH they're improved. Sounds like nonsense, but I hope I explained it well because it's funky technical jargon.
I appreciate you making corrections because I was flipping out when you said Bad Company was the first Battlefield game on consoles. Also, not every game gets upgraded to 4k in the backwards compatible mode on Xbox One X or Series X. That has to be enabled per game, and most games aren't upgraded that way. It's only the original Xbox games that all have a resolution upgrade. But those aren't all the way up to 4k.
@Nazraq04 Yes natively they're not upgraded to 4K like the OG Xbox games, but the display resolution is up to 4K which does make a difference, so the image quality output is beyond what the 360 is capable of, that's all I'm ever referring to unless otherwise noted, like Fallout 3 with it's Xbox One X patch that natively upgraded it's visuals. I'm really annoyed that Wikipedia and Google gave me that false info, because I don't own and wasn't looking into Battlefield 2 Modern Combat so it tripped me up!
I was about to say cuz I was going to correct you and say that you're wrong when you said that because battlefield 2 modern combat came out first in 2005 over here in North America USA and Canada in 2005 of course since you already know that now for PS2 and original Xbox at the time it was only for those two consoles before a special made one for Xbox 360 a year later in 2006
Honestly I use my Series X mostly for it backwards compatibility. It really does a great job and the fact almost all are enhanced really helps them shine.
@bb2status I think I would be doing the same if I got one. Issue I am having is my XboxOne is doing that now. Keep thinking the digital offerings in the future will be better run on the Series X.

With the Series S being a digital only system, the only way to play Skate 2 is finding someone who bought the game digitally on the 360, and game sharing their account so you can download it on the modern console.

This is a big reason why I own a Series X. The fact that they took the time to make games like Final Fantasy 13 compatible in 4K,HDR with better frame rates is a step above anything Sony has ever done. Microsoft has big problems with bending the knee to DEI garbage but when it comes to backwards compatibility they knocked it out of the park.
Are the prices of 360 discs still crazy? I wanted to play The Simpsons game, but it was $100 or more last time I checked. I could buy an old console & RGH it for that price.

I don't doubt it, I've seen some people like the second one more but not very many and hardly anyone likes 3 better, it's a great way to play the first one other than PC.
I have mortal Kombat komplete edition it works normally, all dlc's characters and costumes,no problems with crash but I think it has a slight input delay, still my favorite mk!
I've noticed a pattern of people not noticing it getting stuck like I did, maybe I'll try running it off of another data source, it's currently on my expansion card which should be identical to the internal.
I honestly got rid of my Series X a few months back. Cause I mostly played 360, One and regular Xbox games on it. And still have those older systems. But before selling it off. I did play through all F.E.A.R. games in order. It was a lot of fun. But took forever playing throigh them all 😅
This is what makes xbox series x my go to play current console. Games these days are not for me. I bounce between ninja gaiden black/2, altered beast arcade, sonic 3@knuckles(og got delisted, good thing i have it), king kong and tons more!
I have MK Komplete edition and Arkham Origins. Komplete edition comes with everything included and both game load and play without any problem on my Series X. Maybe be you have faulty disc reader or something because I never had problems with my system crashing
It only uses the disc to enable the download so the disc drive wouldn't be a suspect, you never know about these random bugs, I just mentioned it in case others noticed it getting stuck during loading times and freezing up.
5:10 Battlefield: Bad Company Was Not The First Game Put Out By Dice On Consoles... That Honor Goes To Battlefield 2: Modern Combat They Wanted To Test How Battlefield Would Experience On Consoles Back In 2006 So They Made An Exclusive Console Only Spinoff And Useually Focusing On Campaign First This Game Opted To Focus On Multiplayer First And Foremost... The Game Was Sadly Delisted And Servers Shut Down In 2011 However You Can Experience What Once Was By Playing The Campaign On Xbox One And Series X Thanks To Backwards Compatibility Theres Even A Ranking System In Campaign And Unlike Other Battlefields Theres No "Main Character" You Can Hot Swap Between Squad Mates And Pick A Position In An Instant Its Unlike Any Other First Person Shooter And Was Pretty Innovative For The Time
Deadpool is a funny one because I have the Xbox One version digitally which should supercede the 360 version. Spiderman 2 is an OG Xbox game which isn't within the purview of the video AND it's not backwards compatible in the first place...
Well, the fact that I'm seeing people claim that Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition both works AND doesn't work at providing the DLC worries me, so which is it? 😂
Something Many People Did Not Know About Next Gen Xbox One And Series X Is You Can Actually Play Imported Backwards Compatible 360 Games From ANY Region Some Of Theses Include: SaintsRow (North American) SaintsRow DE (German) SaintsRow (Japan) Gears Of War (North American) Gears Of War (Japan) Bully (North American) Bully (Japan) The Reason I Mention Theses Is They All Have Separate Achievement Lists And Can Be Stacked Just Keep In Mind It Only Works With 360 Xbox Games And They Must Be Backwards Compatible In There Region
The worst thing you can subject yourself to is playing the PS3 version of FEAR over PlayStation's streaming service. Ultra low fps and ultra high lag 💀
EXACTLY! Yet some people cope and act like that's good enough for classic console titles, it is NOT a singular solution to making classic titles available, Sony needs to pull their heads out.
That's odd, it just checks the disc for the license and then downloads the game, have your discs been coasters or is your disc drive also having a hard time reading Xbox One and Series X games?
Hi mate. Only original Xbox games upscale automatically on series X. For 360 games it adds X 16 filtering to most games but it won’t upscale past it’s initial resolution unless it was patched later to do so.
True, that's why I specifically said 4K display resolution, so correct it's not a native upgrade like they've done with OG Xbox games which look REALLY clean. A clear example of a 360 game that DID get a native upgrade was Fallout 3 with it's Xbox One X patch, but, all games are still displayed in 4K with loading and performance usually being the most noticeable factors being better, particularly with unlocked framerates.
It does a basic display upscale to 4K, but it depends on the title for anything natively 4K such as OG Xbox games most if not all of which are natively upscaled to 4K. Fallout 3 is one of the few 360 examples of a native change to the visuals through an older Xbox One X patch that updated the game's native graphics, while New Vegas is still natively 720p yet displayed up to 4K unless running in 60fps with the frame rate boost mode which runs at 1080p.
Actually yes these are all backwards compatible on any Xbox One, the Series X is simply the best at it with some exclusive features such as FPS boost when applicable.

I don't doubt it, I've seen some people like the second one more but not very many and hardly anyone likes 3 better, it's a great way to play the first one other than PC.
There gold in dem Hills!!!
"And gold in them thar floors too!" (Three Stooges) 😂
Pure (a pretty great racing game inspired by Motorstorm) is disk only
I'll look into it for another episode 👍
But took forever playing throigh them all 😅
Well, at least you enjoyed it until then.
i really want to play more Xbox 360 games on Xbox Series X so bad?
Me too! I hope they add more 🙏
Who do you think would win in a fight, one of those rusky tanks or TruckosaurasRex?
I'd guess TruckosaurasRex 😅
The correct answer is the golf cart
@michaelschoen9777 🤣
This is what makes xbox series x my go to play current console. Games these days are not for me. I bounce between ninja gaiden black/2, altered beast arcade, sonic 3@knuckles(og got delisted, good thing i have it), king kong and tons more!
Oooohh King Kong is going to be on another episode in the future, I have a copy 😁
still waiting for more Xbox 360 games for backwards compatible?
Absolutely 🙏
I have MK Komplete edition and Arkham Origins. Komplete edition comes with everything included and both game load and play without any problem on my Series X. Maybe be you have faulty disc reader or something because I never had problems with my system crashing
It only uses the disc to enable the download so the disc drive wouldn't be a suspect, you never know about these random bugs, I just mentioned it in case others noticed it getting stuck during loading times and freezing up.
Xbox 360 👍👌💪
The good ol' days 😌
Thank you
You're very welcome 🤝
5:10 Battlefield: Bad Company Was Not The First Game Put Out By Dice On Consoles...
That Honor Goes To Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
They Wanted To Test How Battlefield Would Experience On Consoles Back In 2006 So They Made An Exclusive Console Only Spinoff And Useually Focusing On Campaign First This Game Opted To Focus On Multiplayer First And Foremost...
The Game Was Sadly Delisted And Servers Shut Down In 2011 However You Can Experience What Once Was By Playing The Campaign On Xbox One And Series X Thanks To Backwards Compatibility
Theres Even A Ranking System In Campaign And Unlike Other Battlefields Theres No "Main Character"
You Can Hot Swap Between Squad Mates And Pick A Position In An Instant Its Unlike Any Other First Person Shooter And Was Pretty Innovative For The Time
Yep I was incorrect on that because Wikipedia bold face says it on their page, I explain in the pinned comment of corrections.
i don't know when is the backwards compatible update for the Xbox Series X?
Nobody knows at this point.
Lord of the rings Lego and the orange box collection as well
Absolutely, both of which I have for another episode 😀
Missing Deadpool and Spiderman 2.
Something Many People Did Not Know About Next Gen Xbox One And Series X Is You Can Actually Play Imported Backwards Compatible 360 Games From ANY Region
Some Of Theses Include:
SaintsRow (North American)
SaintsRow DE (German)
SaintsRow (Japan)
Gears Of War (North American)
Gears Of War (Japan)
Bully (North American)
Bully (Japan)
The Reason I Mention Theses Is They All Have Separate Achievement Lists And Can Be Stacked
Just Keep In Mind It Only Works With 360 Xbox Games And They Must Be Backwards Compatible In There Region
That's actually very interesting and could be beneficial for collectors having a hard time finding NA copies 😀
I would've included 50 Cent Blood on the Sand.
I've heard that's a bit of a gem, I've never played it myself.
Whats EVERYBODY xbox gamertag,
Cant never find no one MK online to play ,
LET'S START A LIST.
Batman Arkham origins need a remaster port
That would actually be cool.
What about (Prince Of Persia 2008) ?
I don't know, haven't looked at it much, could be in a future video, anything is possible.
There was a battlefield before bad company on consoles
Yeah I'm one off, Google/Wikipedia lied to me, so I corrected myself in the pinned comment.
My series x isn’t playing most of my 360 back compat discs.. it hurts me deeply.. 🤦🏿♂️
That's odd, it just checks the disc for the license and then downloads the game, have your discs been coasters or is your disc drive also having a hard time reading Xbox One and Series X games?
@ no issue with xb1 or xbs games.. I’m gonna try to find a cd lens cleaner .. maybe my laser is a bit dirty 🤷🏿♂️
You never know, worth a shot.
Dose the batman arkham origins have dlc
It does but none of it is available if you didn't originally purchase it 😣
Wannabe tech geeks are the worst. You're not correcting anything. Your comprehension skills are the issue.
Will it upscale graphics too ??😢
It does a basic display upscale to 4K, but it depends on the title for anything natively 4K such as OG Xbox games most if not all of which are natively upscaled to 4K. Fallout 3 is one of the few 360 examples of a native change to the visuals through an older Xbox One X patch that updated the game's native graphics, while New Vegas is still natively 720p yet displayed up to 4K unless running in 60fps with the frame rate boost mode which runs at 1080p.
I bought a disc of Lego Lord of the Rings because it's not on the online store
So did I! I'm excited to eventually cover it on the channel 😀
Battlefield 3 is now delisted unfortunately
Well that just adds it to the list of games for future episodes then 👍
Not on xbox one? 😢
Actually yes these are all backwards compatible on any Xbox One, the Series X is simply the best at it with some exclusive features such as FPS boost when applicable.
📈 💰🤑 games 💵
Yep, getting pricier all the time.
You forgot silent hill downpoor
That is one of the only Silent Hill games I don't have, but I'll have to remedy that.
I hate when games get delisted, it's cringe 🙏
Me too, it always sucks.
Xbox 360
comment
I'll take it 👍
I'd preffer if we had 'physical only' games rather than digital only
