B-127, Elita-1, Orion Pax and the other miners probably have their own goal, but not D-16. He just wants to do his job properly and worship Sentinel. But when he learned the truth, it feels like he lost his purpose in life. What's worse is that he keeps protecting Orion Pax from breaking protocol. And that right there is why he's, like, a pawn with no will of his own.
Yeah because I think Megatron fall from Grace was handed better than Anakin’s if you have seen the video how prequel trilogy ruined Darth Vader, also I think that villains like Zemo from Civil War, Joaquin Phoenix Joker,Mr Glass, Frankenstein monster,Victor Drago and Damien Anderson from 3 should have been on this list
I will make more, and those are good picks. I do like zemo and u.s agent from the show. These are really good picks so after the two other video ideas i will do these again with more characters that fit and credit u for ones u mention here.
thank you, if it happens nice if it doesn't still nice; especially having people like you who comment nice things and the people who comment about something relating to the video. thank you to you and all
@CryptidPenguin yeah no problem also I think the concept of villains being made is such a good thing to explore in fiction because it's the perfect Avenue to show all the factors that lead people to make bad to horrible decisions not justifying them but making it more understandable. Especially when it comes to radicalization like for example Eren Yeager because we see how someone can become basically a fascist and justifying it simply wanting to protect their families / friends although by destroying the rest of the world.
Yeah, I need to watch that anime again i only got to season 2 but didn't return. Fullmetal alchemist is my favorite anime and i think greed explains that well, in a sense he says that greed is usually define bad but people always want more than what they have like wanting to protect their family. i need to see the anime because i think it sounds similar but want to know if there was another way
Fellow actor Brian Tyree Henry really out did himself with his incredible performance and his deep understanding of Megatron since always wanted to play the villains. Every villain is a hero of his and her own Story. D-16 is not only a product of Cybertron’s corrupted system and takes on Sentinel Prime’s oppression though violent means of all the social injustices he had experiences forged his transcendence into Megatron and building up to a rivalry with Orion turned Optimus Prime (due to wanting the same goal of a unified Cybertron but have different viewpoints). Even Orion is willingly to sacrifice himself for restoring the sake of his brother’s morality by being taken by the blast. But their friendship is doomed ever since they discovered that shocking realization that their leader Sentinel Prime had sold out Cybertron to the Quintessons after betraying his fellow Prime brothers and sisters, and ruled his planet through oppression. D-16 has put too much faith in the system he has held on to until his worldview was shattered that boils up to anger and a personal vengeance after being suffered of the social injustices while Orion still kept his optimism by exposing the truth of Sentinel's corruption. This what makes D-16 a much more of a compelling hero-turned-villain and tragic character in Transformers history. And the rift between two brothers. Both D-16 and Orion really wanted a unified Cybertron but each have different ways to bringing it into fruition.
Damn you explain it in a way better than i did. I overlook on how orion and d 16 re acted since when they realized shows a lot on their motive for later. all of the three i did like his performance and seeing it in threater was really cool as it was similar to when i saw the first transformer Orion really kept his optimism even when losing his faith cause evidence was gone, his influence to elita came back to inspire him
Anakin also has a lot more in common with Eren Yeager (attack on Titan) and Paul Atreides (DUNE). You should do another video that talks about how sometimes a protagonist can become Devil Messiahs.

Three of my favourite antagonists in literature

I disagree I think Anakin fall was handed perfectly I don't think the prequels ruined Vader's character at all but I respect your opinion
@Darth-KronosYT
I agree with you. It is better than the other drafts and plans they had like having obi wan and padme have an affair
@CryptidPenguin I love your videos
@Darth-KronosYT
Thank you that really means alot
You're making really good content keep going I hope that one of your videos will blow up and it'll get a million views or something

Always liked Megatrons original headsculpt. Always reminded me of a German soldier.
it does and it doesn't help that it looks like he has black boots similar to them

I will look into that as devil messiahs do sound interesting, i will credit u when i find a few other characters to talk about to.
I don't know if I'd put Homelander on the same level as the other two. Even they would be like "buddy chill"
Well, everyone has a breaking point, even Spider-Man, but he tries his best not to go over the edge most of the time.
green goblin and kraven the hunter are in my opinion the best to pushing spider man over the edge, other than the writers
What about JJJ?
he is more annoying than evil to spiderman but he does have his moments
2 weeks ago 😅😮😮😢
It’s pronounced “Chancellor” not “councillor”
welp that is going to bothers me for a bit. I'm dumb got stuck with council from jedi council.
