- I restored this Sony GV-9e video Walkman
Replaced the electrolytic capacitors on the main board with this pal aversion there was only 5 unlike the NTSC version I restored which had 30 so a lot more chance of corrosion
The power supply inside needed to be replaced as they partially fail causing the lcd to only show a white screen
The tape mechanism needed to be replaced as the tape guides were not moving all the way forward
Parts were obtained from other dead units
