Good morning Juan, hey cooler weather heading your way, were going to be down to 51 degrees tonight. Seems like they would want to harvest those trees, otherwise they will just torch off someday.
Absolutely horrible about Jasper Juan, Barkerville/Wells was threatened as well but l think it's o.k. now. So many memories going through Jasper. It seems every year it's the annual burn up of a town or at least threatening too, Ashcroft is close to another fite they went through this before afew times. Happier news 15mm of rain in Chilliwack over night. Cheers! Juan & Jess
I've tried putting corners on the bottom but found that they are tricky to put on, would be ok with weeks Jess is along to help. The angel of the strap means it doesn't cut in like the top 90⁰
@@JuanRempel I'm old school and I like to think I know more than a computer for certain road conditions and the road itself but I'm going my driving a automatic in a 82 Paystar 5000 International, big difference now I bet again safe travels
I find some parts of the far right lane of the Coquihalla is quite worn out with grooves such that my car seems to wander a bit. Also, it's bad when it rains as water collects in the grooves. I feel comfortable only driving 100 kph on that road. I turn off to the right here (17:08) as there is the Needle Peak hiking trail I like to hike.
Yes, but the groves are perfect for us truckers, it's almost auto piolit because the groves want to keep us locked in. With a car with the narrow wheel base only one side is in the Grove and the 2 groves fight.....KO
@@JuanRempel you should feel what it's like in my 1970 Pro Street GMC Step-side., with the big huge tires in the back and the little skinny tires up front. bias ply tires. 🙂 it's a ride on a roller coaster .
@@JuanRempel It's rated as hard but I find it medium since I hike a lot and in good shape. Even if you hike up part ways you get good views of the mountains still.
Highway Thru Hell is my favorite
Clutch stability is important, especially going up steep mountains ⛰️
Beautiful little river. The water looks crystal clear.
It is, it's also ice cold
That was a great drive up the Coquihalla. Thank you
It's Friday night here. I'll tune in to Live Stream this weekend.
20:39 The rear view is gorgeous.
The Coquihalla is looking very summer.
Wow, that is a lot of dry walls. We call it gyprock.
You probably scared the other vehicle when you TOOT TOOT in the snow shed.
Good morning everyone 👍

Awesome, looking forward to the cool down, yea, wonder if they do cut yhe trees in a pattern that helps with forest fire breaks
I was waiting for the Toot in the Tunnel, thanks
I almost missed it
Thanks for your videos Juan
Always a pleasure to watch and listening to you Juan😊
Glad you like them!
I live in Alberta. I remember these tunnels
A lot more on Rogers pass

It's scary, I say every spring we burn a circle around every town.
get another 30 corners to put on the bottoms of the wall board.

18-speed automatic 😢 in my opinion, safe travels! And keep safe from your fires in B.C.. It looks like Jasper is burning as I type this 😢
I've learnt to enjoy the auto

I wonder if automatic transmission overheats more than a manual gearbox
The Coquihalla must be step?
It's not that it's steper then other highways, it just stays step for a long time.

Sweet on the hicking trail, will have to do that one day, what would you rate the trail at?

LOL I bet

When you refer to a ⚙️ gear, eg. 2nd "over." Is that high ratio?
Yea, direct is low, over is high.
👀👍🐕☕
Good morning
