My son has a commercial embroidery company and purchased 5 Melco machines. They work ok but customer support when a machine breaks is almost non existent. It can take months to get a service tech to come and look at machine, then possibly weeks to get parts if required. His business is expanding so he is researching alternative companies as Melco isn’t a viable option. Don’t believe a word this guy says about receiving any type of support…….you are on your own!!
I watched this video and others about Melco machines and made the decision to purchase one. In sum, had I understood what an unprofessional, indifferent, poorly run organization - Melco was - I would have been spared one of the worst experiences with a company in my life. They denied my funds were received - even though the funds were verified by my bank and theirs that they had been received. Their weeks of denials caused me to feel helpless and defrauded. After pleading endlessly for help to no avail - I ended up having to hire an attorney to file a breach of contract complaint. That's when they reversed - said would do me a favor (thanks after spending thousands on an attorney). I could have - at that point - gotten my machine - or gotten a refund. That was an easy choice! I could not get away from Melco fast enough! I was disgusted! Throughout the process, total indifference by a number of their employees. I found it quite shocking and regretted that others - because this pervasive company culture didn't just suddenly show up -had not described their experiences in reviews. Certainly there are others who have been abused and mistreated - but they are probably just like me - not the type to write a bad review. Which - is why I am writing my first bad reviews of my life. Not out of spite but out of interest in helping others to have a more complete understanding of doing business with Melco.
