works best on fish that swallow the bait and not attack. think fish like catfish. Won't catch a bass on something like this. BUt put a big piece of stinky meat on it and they will definitely work with catfish.
Cat fish are bottom feeders n never considered food in the Bible, they are for cleansing the earth n bad for us. We were warned not to eat them n then YHWH would not give us the plagues n diseases but we keep disobeying. These without scales n fins are the cockroaches of the rivers.

maybe in spring time when fishing is good we will do that. Now isn't the time of year for this tactics. Trapping is the go to tactics this time of year.
