Chuck, you're a national treasure.
He is the magician of the leather world! 😊
Great video. God bless. From Glenn CATT in Massachusetts.
I do drive myself crazy about mistakes!
Can you do a video on how to add a german concho to a belt. (The kind with a welded loop/ring on the back side of the concho) how to attach it?
I am certainly my BIGGEST CRITIC, which is why I still haven’t cut my 1st piece of leather yet! I think I finally have everything I need to make my pouch look as professional as possible - as though I’ve been doing it for years... 😎 Well, I haven’t gotten my stamp with my logo yet! 😤😤😤
You can do it!
I tell budding leather workers that when they get compliments the best response is; “Thank you” not; “Thanks but look at this mistake and that mistake.” As Chuck says no one ever sees that.
My conchos have a flat base like washer that the screw butts up against and makes them stick out and I hate them...don't know how to make them work with sticking out and them catching on loops and things...
Is it possible to remove belt conchos ??
Yes, unless the belt is lined and the back of the concho is sandwiched between the top and bottom layer. You should see a concho back if it isn't layered and there would either be a screw that you can just unscrew and remove or if it's a rivet back, you can use the method in the video below.

How far apart on condos , for 5 on 44 belt
See if the video below helps, you'll want to take the distance between your shortest belt hole and the buckle fastener hole and divide it by 6 (amount of conchos plus one). So if that distance is 40" and you are adding 5 conchos you would take 40 divided by 6 and use that as your spacing.

The only people seeing mistakes are us leathercrafters.
Anyone else here because of Stephen King?
