Nagasaki atomic bombing was not "the last bomb". The Red Army continued to mangle the japanese in Manchuria for eleven days more. The total annihilation of Japan's Kwantung Army in Manchuria by the Soviets was one of the main reasons for the unconditional surrender of Japan.
