My moms buzz around xl will be fully charged and at times it will show that it has dropped to zero battery and won’t go anywhere. I pulled the battery and tested voltage. It showed me over 24 volts and then she went to go to dinner and it showed zero or no battery. Just wondering if you would think that is in the controller. Just watched your great video and will test the controller when I go see her. Just want to see if you have any advice for us

I have the 4-wheel ersion of this scooter. How do I tell that the controllr is bad? When I turn on my scooter the power/charge light light up in an odd way and it beeps. Also, do you know if there is a replacement part for the latch that connects the front to the rear of the scooter? Thanks Was in a car accident and these issues seem to be the result of the accident.
You might want to refer to the manual as it contains information about the beep codes for your scooter. I have the Golden Buzzaround XLS-HD - GB147Z. The company that I bought it from is no longer available. It's just under 5 years old. From the very beginning the battery indicator light didn't work well. Now it seems to not hold a charge for very long. I have noticed that it's better if I charge the battery directly, but it still doesn't hold for longer. I'm planning a trip and want to see if there is a way to have it checked out before I travel. Do you have anyone or any recommendations for that. I'm in So. Calif. thanks.

I tested the controller to 4.78 The orange and yellow wire on the throttle pod test to 4.78. The orange and white test to 2.5. The scooter will die shortly after a full charge at times
If you've tested nothing wrong on the controller and the scooter still lose charge faster than normal, it's a good idea to start checking or troubleshooting your batteries too. I'm a big guy and I'm putting my 4 wheel EX into over current protection mode when I leave the grocery store. It's right at the top of the hill. If I can get more speed out of it I can make it up long before it bogs down. It's my understanding that the controller's speed is limited to about 60% of what it can actually do. How hard is it to increase the speed? Most of my driving is in the grocery store on on pavement from there to home so I can easily handle the increase in speed on the flats.
Awesome step by step explanation. Very clear and straight to the point information. Thanks again guy’s.

That's a myth. The controllers are not limiting the speed.
@MobilityDirect I read the manual for the controller lol. It states 60% is default for max speed unless the scooter OEM changes it.
@@MobilityDirect PLEASE MAKE THAT VIDEO ON HOW TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES ON A GOLDERN EX BUZZAROUND. HOW YOU GET THE BATTERY OUT OF THE CASE?
