Also if anyone is having trouble with frames per second or you just want to increase your fps I recommend changing your power management mode setting in Nvidia Control Panel. It's under Manage 3D Settings> Global Settings> Power Management Mode. I notice a huge increase in frames when I change it to "prefer maximum performance" and for some reason if you update your graphics driver, it will default this setting to optimal power which is not good if you want to maximize your frames. Just a quick tip for anyone with a Nvidia card
I just have a question with regards to that. I'm not changing it cause I think it might increase my electricity bill. Do you think that I am right about that? I'm just curious about other people's thought about this. Thank you in advance for those who will reply. I appreciate it.
@@RitchSkywalkerit most definitely will, running a pc isn’t that power hungry unless you have a high power card (I would say like the rtx 3090, or the most power hungry, 4090) but if you have a medium end pc you wont need more power. In summary, you most likely won’t notice a significant increase in your electric bill unless you’re running a high power card and power supply.
@@RitchSkywalker it's hard to find any specific power usage stats comparisons between the different power options but I would be surprised to find any significant change in your electricity bill. Most people would be concerned about your idle clock being much higher. Ultimately it is up to you if you want to run your card harder. It is also worth noting that changing this setting has different results depending on what hardware you have (I have a Gigabyte 2070 Super)
Hey TenZ, just wanted to drop a quick note to say that your video on finding the perfect sensitivity and optimal settings has been a game-changer for me! Your insights and tips have really helped me fine-tune my gameplay and improve my performance in VALORANT. Your dedication to sharing your expertise with the community is truly appreciated. Keep up the amazing work, and looking forward to more content from you!
that also makes sound which lets the enemies know where you are example your sneakling onto A site with your duo and the other three teamates are on B making sound and your duo wants the spike for his ult and there could be someone still on site anchoring so his setting actually helps a lot but like he said its BASE ON PERSEVERANCE
11:40 another advantage/quirk of left and right eye dominance is the recoil shake of your gun. I'm right eye dominant and I like right hand still because I can subconsciously see how my gun sprays (therefore making my sprays cleaner). But of course the trade off is I that I see less of my screen. This is more of a Counter:Strike thing than Valorant since you said spraying isn't as important but could still be useful for someone else!
For every people thinking about eye dominance. Having your weapon on right or left side just depend on your preference and not on your eye dominance. Eye dominance is more impactful the more distance there is between you and the thing you looking. Thats important when scopingbut IRL. Here no matters if the ennemy is far or not, you still looking at the screen and screen wont change is distance so its just a preference
Thank you soo much for the advice Tenz, it was really helpful. I liked how you emphasized more on personal choice and preference a lot and to be more natural. Hope to see you do more videos like this. loads of love and care to you and Kyedae❤😊✌
for the dominate eyes thing.. so many people do the hand thing... when it really is paired with your brain, if you're left hand dominate, chances are your left eye dominate as well... you can compare it to actually aiming down a barrel. if you are shooting left handed, you're going to look down the barrel with your left eye... if anyone doesn't believe me, I suggest doing his triangle one.. and use the microphone symbol next to the youtube search bar up there. with both eyes open, try to put that in the center of your triangle using the finger and thumb lines to line it up nice and straight, then do the one eye thing real quick. you'll find you're usually more dominant in the hand you write with.
Very good video man im currently immortal and still struggle with settings especially monitor settings I appreciate the help. I really want to see your thoughts on crosshair placement I personally feel like all the guides feel like they are made by diamond players who just say to go head level and they dont actually talk about distances, repeaks, or anything past the very basics and how awareness can play into it.
Hey! At 11:30 on the dominant eye statement, just like how someone's right or left hand is their dominant hand some people don't have a dominant hand and are ambidextrous or Ambidextral. Some people don't have a dominant eye. This "phenomenon" is called mixed ocular dominance.
2:48 Yes, there is. If you're using a mouse with a higher polling rate like 4000Hz, you really want to use more dpi, otherwise you won't get any benefit from it. At a lower dpi, your mouse will not reach this area when moving slowly
some aim trainers suggest that changing sensitivity isn't actually bad for your aim. it increases mouse control and i personally was also stuck on a low sense for basically forever. recently, i found it way more enjoyable to experiment with it more. for one it doesn't make the game feel so stale and the range of sense i feel comfortable with is actually much bigger than i thought it was, before trying it out. what also really helps is maybe 3 mousepads of different speeds(mudpad, hybrid, speed) to better compliment the sens change. i can change from 560 -992 edpi with minimal time to adjust now(maybe 1-2 DMs) and hit basically the same results. i figure everyone has a certain range of edpi they can use effectively with a rather high degree of precision and speed.
@@jin6715 there are a few more that suggest changing sense isn't as bad as people make it sound, ridd for example also talks about it. i can notice it especially in some tracking scenarios, that i have to lift the mouse way too often to stay on target, but going back to a low sense ingame doesn't feel akward at all. nothing also talked about having to adjust sense according to the climate/added humidity and so on. personally, the biggest change in ingame sense always occurs when i switch out pads. there's no way the same sens on a mud pad(pulsar parabrake v2) feels right compared to a low friction speedpad(mpc450).
Recommended with the hand model part. before I switched to left handed since I'm right eye dominant I was hard stuck at gold 3. but after switching and after 2 years I'm Diamond 2 now.
Also make sure you add outline to your crosshair, so you can have the center part brighter (e.g. green) and the outline darker (e.g. black) or vice versa, so you can always have your crosshair pop up on either bright or dark terrain.
I tried increasing my dpi to the maximum my mouse supports (12k) while maintaining the same eDPI as I had before and I noticed a massive difference. It feels like it's easier to track the movement of the crosshair and thus visually confirm that it's on target before shooting.
THANK YOU TENZ, I really like how you appreciate these finer aspects of gaming. As a hobbyist, I like to think about them as well, but I'm sure it makes a hell of a difference at the pro level. Cheers!
I feel like you missed two important settings: Raw input and HRTF, they're usually off when i check my friends' settings so it would've been nice if you brought them up for everyone here to know
@@AmitYadav-xb8zf it makes the game ignore windows' mouse sensitivity settings and takes the raw data from the mouse movements so no acceleration and inconsistency between sensitivities caused by the windows multiplier also for whatever reason i had horrible frame drops before i enabled it but im not sure if it was that setting or something else i changed that day
