High end luxury stores in a town like Vegas also see people who come in a buy a lot of items at once. You might have someone walk into Saint Laurent and spend $20k or more in one trip, and with the markup on those items, it leaves plenty of room to only see 1-3 customers a day.
The Wynn is beautiful, and has yet another set of shops that I could never buy anything from. I love the rogue "you can't record in the hotel" guy, like it's still 1999 or something. I remember when they used to hate it, and when they used to get all up in arms if someone took a cell phone out at the table, but now you see it all the time, and only rarely do they make the same fuss. I know they still would prefer you not, but most places have realized it's now a losing battle, but you still run into the old schoolers that try and poo poo on it.
I like your videos Annette, keep em coming. A couple requests would be Flamingo, Golden Nugget & the Circa once it opens next week. That view from Planet Hollywood was legit!

Beautiful hotel. I love how they kept the walls very neutral but had so much rich color in the carpeting & certain areas they mimicked the motifs in the carpets in floor tiles to break up the marble look. Even with all that gold, marble & rich Baroque colors the atmosphere felt open & airy. Very luxe. Will have to check it out next time we're in Vegas. I liked the Belagio with the Chihuly stained glass ceiling & fine art painting exhibits. Last couple times we were there we spent the most time at the Belagio, Luxor, Venetian, NewYork New York, Treasure Island & The Mirage. We don't drink or gamble, we go for the shows :)
I know right? Its so well done! Bellagio is stunning as well, especially during the holidays. I'm def gonna have to do some walk throughs at different hotels during the holidays. You dont need to gamble here at all to have fun. I think a lot of people would like vegas if they realized theres so much more to do here than gamble
I was at the Wynn opening weekend. Wasn't staying, but played poker and slots. A few weeks later got a letter for 2 free nights. So I booked it, and I loved the room! Definitely recommended!😍

i remember walking into wynn in 2006 and thinking we devalued the place with our presence and that there is no way i would ever stay there, now i stayed there last month and am back for the 4th of july
The Wynn is one of my favorite hotels. It would be nice if you could do a review of the Urthe Caffe located in the Wynn Plaza Shoppes. Great coffee and brunch items at an affordable price.
The Tower Suites is a separate section of the building. You get a separate drop off and check in area and there is a 5 star restaurant and a bar back there called Tableau. You also have Tower Suite only pools which are usually full. You get house keeping twice a day.

That buffet with the long line is probably one of the best on the strip in my opinion. Lots of variety and good quality. Has a mini bakery for all the deserters
I know I’m jumping back in time. But, I Really enjoyed this since we are in quarantine due to China virus. the last time I played (slot and video poker) in the Wynn was if 2007 (Won $1500 on a $5 machine / Loss in total $1900). In the end my wife and our guess enjoyed the Blue ticket meal at the Buffet. Sad 😢, I hear the Wynn is not like that anymore. Aww.. the days when a player was royalty. Nice video with pleasant content. Thanks for sharing.
I love the Wynn. I think it's the nicest hotel to stay at on the strip. I reserved a room online once and when I went to check in, the receptionist asked if I wanted to pay 20 extra for a nice upgrade. I wound up getting a super sweet room with a massage room inside and lots of lovely touches. There was a separate check in to get to my room too, I felt like a queen lol
My sister was married at the Flamingo April 30th 2005. That's how I remember when casino opened. We all went over there a few days after opening.2-12-20

It's been about 8 years since my last Vegas trip, so I'm really appreciating these videos. I just live in Southern CA, so not too far but I just haven't made the time for it. Id like to go with my new husband soon, he's never been as an adult. So Id enjoy seeing some of the newer hotels, ones that have gone up within the last 10 years or so to help get caught up. Thank you, great series so far 😎😎😎
Wynn/Encore are my favorite hotels in Vegas. They're a bit off the street so you don't get random people coming in from the Strip. The hotels are busy, but not packed...a plus IMO. Restaurants are excellent. The buffet is supposed to be in the top 3 but I don't do buffets. The 2 hotels are connected so it conveniently doubles your options for everything. Rooms at both hotels are nice and have good views. Personally, I like the view of the airport because I spend a lot of time in the room....but the Strip views are stunning at night. We don't gamble so Vegas trips are all about relaxing, spa treatments, shopping, and restaurants. Once installed in our room we rarely leave the hotel grounds to go anywhere else.
I love wynn/encore, Ive stayed at both in the past and I cant wait to go back and stay there and film at some point! I love that you hang out int he room and chill when youre here, thats what I like to do on vacation too

I just saw you video on the Luxor Casino. I liked it enough to check out other videos. I agree with everything you said about the Wynn. I know you are younger and Freemont street may not be your kind of thing. However, if you do decided to get away from the strip i recommend the Nugget first and 4 Queens second. The steaks at the Nugget are second only to Triple George in my opinion. No, I do not live in Vegas but I am there at least once a month on Business. You have a new subscriber.
The wynn was so great it, needed an Encore. My guess , it was the sports book, they don't want their current lines public ( even though there are apps ). The attention to detail, very nice.

People honestly dress sll over the place in vegas lol. Theres reslly no dress code unless u go to super upscale restaurants and night clubs. People wear jeans and tshirts everywhere at least during the day. Everyones walking so much here to see everything that comfort is always important
Just a bit of correction: La Reve was created by some of the people behind Cirque Du Soleil but it is not an actual Cirque du Soleil show. The Wynn is a beautiful casino and one of the few on the Strip that I haven’t at least visited. I walked by the outside when I was last in Vegas in 2012; it was still under construction when I was there in 2004.
Wait a minute.. it's a hotel, casino, bars, shops, theater?! This hotel is de size of a small town 😅. Being from The Netherlands I am not used to seeing such big hotels. Pretty awesome to see.
Lol yeah the hotels here are insane. The buffets will have brunch buffets on the weekends where u can get breakfast until 1 or 2 i think. But otherwise breakfast is usually taken away by 10

we stayed at the Aria and loved it, the only thing I didn't like was the heavy vanilla scent they pushed through the air filtering system..made me kinda sick
Annete, is the Encore IDENTICAL to the Wynn? My sister brought me to Vegas a few years ago & we actually took the elevator in the Wynn up to the top! A slew of janitors was cleaning one of the rooms w/the door open, so we feel we got a pretty sweet view of one of the fancy room!!! But if you are ever free to show the Encore (if it's not a carbon copy of Wynn)--THAT would be awesome 2 see!!! [Please forgive my lack of emoji's in my text: RUclips doesn't have the traditional emojis as Facebook;-( ].
My buffet bucket list is Wynn, Aria, Studio B, Wicked Spoon, Bacchanal and the Sterling Sunday brunch😀 What other shows have you seen? Excuse me while I go google SW's menu😆
I just went to the Aria brunch buffet, it was great haha. Ive been to the Wynn and Bacchanal as well but its been too long ago to really remember. I think I've honestly seen all or 90% of the Cirque de soleil shows here throughout the years. We used to go to them quite often when my husband and i first got together, they are incredible, and we still take family and friends to different shows when they come out here
The Wynn has a GREAT Buffet, also the Urth Cafe is REALLY good. I was in the Omega watch store there, and they let me try on a $8000 watch.. While I was there, a guy purchased one.. So yes.. they do sell ... And like you say.. 1 sale is .. I mean $8,000... Good day for anyone.
Some people have money my brother-in-law whose a show-off (and a jerk) regularly blows a quarter million or more on a single watch at a time. He lives up in Canada not in Vegas thanks 250 U.S. not Canadian.

At the 9:00 mark that was the VIP area and check in.I stayed there in the Tower Suite Salon which was 1,850 sq ft!It was amazing for sure.

I love wynn/encore, Ive stayed at both in the past and I cant wait to go back and stay there and film at some point! I love that you hang out int he room and chill when youre here, thats what I like to do on vacation too

I just saw you video on the Luxor Casino. I liked it enough to check out other videos. I agree with everything you said about the Wynn. I know you are younger and Freemont street may not be your kind of thing. However, if you do decided to get away from the strip i recommend the Nugget first and 4 Queens second. The steaks at the Nugget are second only to Triple George in my opinion. No, I do not live in Vegas but I am there at least once a month on Business. You have a new subscriber.
The wynn was so great it, needed an Encore. My guess , it was the sports book, they don't want their current lines public ( even though there are apps ). The attention to detail, very nice.
That carousel makes me happy I want one too lol. In my home of course 😉

You mentioned how much stores charge here in Wynn,I just painted Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant in Paris which is beautiful but we all got a look at the prices on menu and OMG it’s insane,steak dinner $160 , caviar $350, shot of Tequila Patron$40

People honestly dress sll over the place in vegas lol. Theres reslly no dress code unless u go to super upscale restaurants and night clubs. People wear jeans and tshirts everywhere at least during the day. Everyones walking so much here to see everything that comfort is always important

Just a bit of correction: La Reve was created by some of the people behind Cirque Du Soleil but it is not an actual Cirque du Soleil show. The Wynn is a beautiful casino and one of the few on the Strip that I haven’t at least visited. I walked by the outside when I was last in Vegas in 2012; it was still under construction when I was there in 2004.

Wait a minute.. it's a hotel, casino, bars, shops, theater?! This hotel is de size of a small town 😅. Being from The Netherlands I am not used to seeing such big hotels. Pretty awesome to see.

Lol yeah the hotels here are insane. The buffets will have brunch buffets on the weekends where u can get breakfast until 1 or 2 i think. But otherwise breakfast is usually taken away by 10

we stayed at the Aria and loved it, the only thing I didn't like was the heavy vanilla scent they pushed through the air filtering system..made me kinda sick

Annete, is the Encore IDENTICAL to the Wynn? My sister brought me to Vegas a few years ago & we actually took the elevator in the Wynn up to the top! A slew of janitors was cleaning one of the rooms w/the door open, so we feel we got a pretty sweet view of one of the fancy room!!! But if you are ever free to show the Encore (if it's not a carbon copy of Wynn)--THAT would be awesome 2 see!!! [Please forgive my lack of emoji's in my text: RUclips doesn't have the traditional emojis as Facebook;-( ].

I just went to the Aria brunch buffet, it was great haha. Ive been to the Wynn and Bacchanal as well but its been too long ago to really remember. I think I've honestly seen all or 90% of the Cirque de soleil shows here throughout the years. We used to go to them quite often when my husband and i first got together, they are incredible, and we still take family and friends to different shows when they come out here

The Wynn has a GREAT Buffet, also the Urth Cafe is REALLY good.
I was in the Omega watch store there, and they let me try on a $8000 watch.. While I was there, a guy purchased one.. So yes.. they do sell ... And like you say.. 1 sale is .. I mean $8,000... Good day for anyone.
Some people have money my brother-in-law whose a show-off (and a jerk) regularly blows a quarter million or more on a single watch at a time. He lives up in Canada not in Vegas thanks 250 U.S. not Canadian.
