I think a lot of these sound great. Given, no matter what type of sound, everything just gets 3 seconds in this demo of the same repeating melody, so it can be hard to really hear some sounds well. The interface looks incredibly easy to make your own sounds with. Voltage drain, sidechain and what I assume is an emulation of the speaker the original synth had? Pretty cool. People who want genre-specific patches make me yawn. Why not make something new? Thanks for demoing this “evolution” of a fun '80s synth.
thanks for this,, just grabbed it and was like,, " , hmm what are the names of some of those "stick out" presets i love-- hearing em' here and i'm able to type in and search,, so thanks again,!
Great sounding synth sadly there are not many bread-and-butter sounds. Mostly graffiti sounds that you won't be able to make much music with. Baby Audio needs to create genre-specific patch banks available for this to be useful for most music makers. Only a hand full of classic sounds that have and still to this day stands the test of time. Great synth, but not many useable sounds. smh
I searched for "Baby Audio BA-1 Presets" hoping to find someone doing a full run thru.... and you did! You should have gone down an octave on those bass presets though :)
Sooo… it’s a Yamaha mono synth clone that’s basically trying to be a Juno 60/106? That’s all I can really hear. Thanks for the upload, saved me the few £/$/€ I was gonna spend on this, i’ll stick to my vintage Juno 60, dx7, prophet 5 and minimoog for all my retro needs! 😅

@@gordowebb9910why would you buy a specifically retro/lofi soft synth, if that wasn’t what you’re into? Just get serum and some patches that suit your style?

Thanks for this! tons of inspirational retro sounds on there mate. Cant wait to smash it with some big rock drum sounds and some riffs.
Thanks Amner, I'm into LoFi and some of these sounds are really cool, quite unusual as presets go, it seems that way...have a fun day! ;D
Really appreciated this quick demo. Thanks!
Thanks for this. Love the synth sounds.

Thanks man - you saved me $50! Given the hype, I was honestly hoping for a bit more from Baby Audio's first foray into synths.
Great synth, but not many useable sounds. smh
Cool, good for you :D haha
Good to know it needs presets! Gonna go make some now
Thanks. Great stuff.
I searched for "Baby Audio BA-1 Presets" hoping to find someone doing a full run thru.... and you did! You should have gone down an octave on those bass presets though :)
Also, Can you do the same demo for each of the other interface colors? 😏😉

NICE THANK YEW BRODER🤟

Just make your own....
Thanks for your opinions!
I made the mistake of buying before listening just cause it's Baby Audio. Very disappointing. but you're great.
Thanks for the kind words to me, really? why you did not like it?
@@AmnerHunter Maybe I expected too much. Too much focus these days on Lo-fi detuned sounds. Would rather just have great sounds.
Got it, agree with you, love old school pad sounds & stuff. we don't need that many lo fi sounds sometimes haha
