As an economist and wealth planner, I beleive Prophet Yusuf's advise in 12:47-48 is the best inspiration both for designing economic policy as well as guideline for lifecycle investment. For the later, it consists three stage of investment: growth, protection and distribution. I got this inspration 21 years ago so I named my youngest son as Yusuf.
❤❤❤❤❤ Surah yousef taught me that 7 is special number. 7 7 reappear everywhere in islam. 7 times around kaba 7 times safa marawah In surah yousef if you remember the dreams he interpreted had alot of 7s. 7 ajwa hadith about rating 7 ajwa in the morning and it would protect you from magic and poison.
I also always considered Prophet Yusuf’s story to be an example of a beautiful happy ending, because not only did the hero get his family back and was victorious, but even the ‘villains” of the story saw the error of their ways and changed.
The presentation is amazing. But I have one critique. It looks like that Yusuf (A.S.) is the friend of the narrator! Not even once “alaihis salaam” or “peace be upon him” is said after the name of the prophet Yusuf (A.S) or Yakub (A.S). We should keep in our minds that prophets are the best people and chosen by Allah (swt). Edit: the narrator has said only once at 13:20.
@@ZakRossaye Thank you. It is only once actually. But I think, most of the scholars will also agree that, we should mention the name of the prophets always with due respect. Yakub (A.S.) and all prophets…
I've been telling many people, for many years already that the life of every single Prophet mentioned in the Quran is a unique Hero's Journey. We could easily include the lives of many great women from Qur'an, the great men of the Cave, etc. And of course, the life stories of all the great Sahaba are real life examples of Hero's Journey. Thank you much for shedding light on this aspect of Quran, Brother!
SubhaanAllah! 🥹 I learned this in English IV class this year, and my mind went the SAME direction!- Seeing how this relates to the Prophets and how each and every Muslim can be their own "hero" too!- SUBHAANALLAH! This is so COOL! ❤ I remember it was called Joseph Campbell's idea of the hero's journey. 😁
Excellent work of narrating the story . The plot , the events , timings , characters , schemes and roles all put together by none other then the ultimate designer , producer and director - why do we fail to see the wisdom - for it is the hearts that go blind due to our own deed Excellent work done by the team that retold us the story revealed 1400 years ago - May Allah give you more barakah to do good .
I agree surat yusif has the best story, and it was my favourite surah growing up recited by sheikh Ahmed Alajmi, ma shaa allah tabark allah the largest surah i memorised is surat yusif and named my son Yusif. My norwegian friend became a muslim back in 2003, at the age of 14 or 15 and he asked me to give him surah Yusif caset (showing my age here haha).
I read it yesterday night. It's a profound story, and amazes the reader, due to its placement in the Qur'an. My key takeaway was a powerful dua in Ayah: 101 which i have noted down for myself and will use in my duas.
Mashaallah, dear brothers and sisters who are behind this production, this was a beautiful thing to watch - very informative, aesthetically pleasing and easy to digest. May Allah make you steadfast on your beneficial actions. One thing I noticed is the dinging sound in the background, it was slightly distracting. But still thank you very much for your work and efforts in making this video.
i listen to this surah everyday recited by sheik Abdallah Humeid. truly the most hearth smoothing surah, i feel like i time travel to that period and live the story so vivedly. this surah truly removes saddness.
This is a really fun video because one of my hobbies is learning about and reading stories and I’ve been wondering how quran stories fit with the different story structures
Videos like this just prove my point as to why you are amongst the top-notch elite Islamic content production channels : you literally have the most genius and creative video ideas allahumma barik
Even if u have the most beautiful name it doesn't mean you automatically be good or straight to Jannah. Perhaps, first thing to do to learn to be grateful for everything.
Subhan’Allah, incredibly unique content. I’m very familiar with the Hero’s Journey theory but have never considered applying it to the story of Yusuf (AS). New perspective, Allahu Akbar!
If you ask Allah for Paradise, then ask Him for al-Firdaws al-A‘la…’ “Allaahumma inni as’aluka al-Firdaws al-A‘la min al-Jannah (O Allah, I ask You for al-Firdaws al-A‘la, [the highest part of Jannah])
Wallahi I am jealous (for good). I had analyzed the story of Yusuf a.s in the Campbellian thought, but I did that in Albanian in my fb account. Keep up the good work. I also did a workshop analyzing the movie Scarface (1983). We noticed many similarities between Joseph and Tony Montana, althought Joseph is a prophet and Tony is a mafia boss. For example they both have to deal with the temptation from the wife of their boss.
its only the surface level coverage, his story also has one of the most greatest love story in it. you completely overlooked zulekhas journey..she is my favourite part of yousuf a.s story

Assalamu alaikum. Can you explain your comment a bit more with some correlation? I want to understand your perspective a bit deeper.
I'd be interested in a similar analysis about the Sira of our Prophet (S. A. W.)
Me too! Insha-Allah
You mean Sirah Nabawiyah? I'm currently listening to Ustadz Khalid Basalamah, there are 25 videos and each video is 2hrs long

These presentations don’t do any justice to the story of Yusuf AS or any of the prophets Peace Be Upon Them All
Thanks! Hope you make more videos of this kind

The story is indeed the best of stories.
When the stars prostrate ….was a great book about the story of Yusuf and really breaks down the ayats
Thank you for the recommendation.
they are 11 planets, it is not correctly translated. please read the quran it self not the translation

Our beloved Prophet Muhammed's life is the best of the best stories that ever happened peace be upon him❤😊
I think you should put "one of the greatest stories" because our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH)'s life of also great.
No need cuz Allah himself said the story of Yusuf AS is the best of stories
Allah said it's best so it's best and "we make no distinction in any his messengers" -Quran
SubhaAllah this is amazing. More of Prophet stories please!
Thank you brother for sharing us another persective about surah yusuf.

Great effort. Great content.
So educative
who reached juz with yusuf today?😅
Great and beautiful video ❤
My name is Yusuf, but I've never felt like the name was blessed 😢
There is no proof that name anyhow impacts your "Takdeer"/ destiny. Stop being ungrateful.
Absolutely nonsense
You have the name of a Prophet
Even if u have the most beautiful name it doesn't mean you automatically be good or straight to Jannah. Perhaps, first thing to do to learn to be grateful for everything.
The prophet Yusuf is being abandoned by his older brothers, taken as a slave, seduced by his wife master, get to prison
This is a beautiful video ❤❤❤ thank you for making me realise how blessed my name is
Look forward to watching this
Ma sha Allah
Amazing, more of this, please. We have to translate Quran for people who don't know about it, in this level.

The Quran tells that story so beautifully...
Mashalloh❤
Great Video!
Nice video editing 👌 👍
Beautiful video, well made masha'Allah. Just a small correction, in the first verses of the surah he sees 11 planets in his dream, not stars.
beautiful
I would love to see more videos of this for some of the other stories of the prophets
Keep making these videos ❤
Beautiful ❤
Please add cc english, i'm not a native speaker. Very apreciate for that, thank you for the video!
