Went out this last weekend, only found two kings. Sw of st helens. Fun trip, did a bunch of exploring but the mushrooms just weren't around. Amanitas popping up like CRAZY though.
not sure what type of trees those are. Up here in BC Canada the mountain areas about two weeks ago was BONKERS with little fat porcini everywhere lol. I filled my 75 litre pack on two trips. it was amazing and so much fun. The chanterelles are keeping me busy now too
You make great videos by focusing on one type of edible mushroom without mixing it up with poisonous varieties. Some other mushroom channels start by talking about an edible mushroom, then switch to discussing poisonous ones, which can be confusing. It's not always clear if they mean both are edible or poisonous, or if they’re just trying to show off their knowledge of scientific names.
Im learning a lot from your clips thanks keep it up 👍😊
Glad to hear it!

I was near there for kings. Too far gone in the places I looked at.
Looks like the bugs beat you to em. You made the best of it though, some really nice ones.
The bugs beat all the foragers this King season. 😆 🤣
