We're re-growing the Seed of Light, and creating the Kabbalah Tree of Life. To greatly over-simplify, the Tree of Life represents the ways that the "absolute infiniteness" of God flows down and manifest as "actual stuff" in our physical world. Each of the Sephirah show the various ways that "absolute infiniteness" begins to gain a more clearly defined form and become "something" rather than "everything". It starts at Keter, which is that infinite-ness of possibilities. It is everything that could be, and yet also nothing at the same time, because in order for something to be hot, it can't also be cold, and since Keter must be both at once, it isn't really either. Hokma then, is the first "real" stage, where the absolute infinite potential of Keter gains some definition, going from "potentially everything" to "something". It's still abstract and vague, but now it can actually have some definition, it could finally become either hot or cold and not have to be potentially both at the same time. Then the energy continues to flow to Binah, then to Chesed, to Gebura, and so on down the sephirot, gaining more and more clear definition until it finally reaches Malkuth at the bottom where it becomes "reality" as we know it. ■■■■■ mentions the incredible potential of the Golden Bough, showing that the Boughs represent Keter. Once Dante begins to take that incredible potential and give it more definition and form, we'll unlock more and more abilities. you can even see it in the power screen, as what little we see of the chains connecting to Hokma almost perfectly match the layout of the channels in the Tree of Life, with the Golden Bough branches being in the place of Keter. One chain goes across to Binah, one goes diagonally down to Gebura/Da'at, one goes straight down to Chesed, with the only one missing being a second diagonal line leading to Tiphereth. And if nothing else, it's right there in the name. The seed of light has now grown into a sapling of light, and it's our job to nurture it and make it grow until it finally grows into a tree of light/life.
Also interesting to note is that we're finally using the tree of life correctly. Instead of starting from the bottom with malkuth, where the whole facility in L Corp had to be reversed to become the upright tree of life, we're starting from kether going to hokma. We're apparently not in a position of complicit morality or contradictions yet.

Just some speculation (from someone who read Le Stranger about a year ago at 3 am) but I wonder if it’s something to do with how Erlkliff constantly tells Heathcliff how he should/will be feeling in the future. Maybe that reminds Meursault of how others would force their own expectations of how he should feel onto him. Remembering that might make him feel gloomy. Or it could be something to do with Marie, but honestly who knows. We don’t know much about Meursault’s life and how it compares to the novel since he rarely talks about himself. Again, super cool detail. Thanks for pointing it out. It makes me even more excited for Meursault’s canto to roll around.

I love the moment in the final fight where you get Erlkonig down to his first HP gate and the fight switches. It's just perfect swap between variants of the Mili song that makes it such an incredible moment.
The fact that Demian still has color probably means hes projecting from somewhere "outside". I kind of think he might be the Purple Tear's kid, though my main evidence is that they give off the same vibe. Also I can totally see Dante keeping a doodle sheep in his pocket for their next meeting just in case.
The sheep thing is also a Little Prince reference. Going by heart i think it is something about "The drawing of a sheep being only a Sheep if you gave it that meaning by heart and cannot being a sheep by itself" Which i guess is the way Demian want Dante to Think of the other mirror words as just.... "concepts" that need attention and focus to exist and no full realities. I mean, we care about PM World and we make it "Realer" by investing ourselves into it.
Not sure if you've heard or checked, but N corp and Pequod ID that mentioned Catherine once in their dialogues, have been completely scrapped clean. Any trace of her is gone
I definitely think that this Canto is SO MUCH better when you've also read the actual book, especially with certain creative choices they make It made SO MUCH sense why Nelly was so young and why she betrays Heathcliff and □□□□□ when you realize in the book that; yeah, she was tired and miserable (at least before the two kids get married) because she had to be so closely tied to the affairs of the two. Erlking Heathcliff and Every □□□□□ quoting their book counterparts at the end too was great, incredible, actually

@@hx5525 To be more precise I believe he said 'He can only intervene if all the sinners are dead, Dante's body has been cut down and something is about to destroy his head.' Which while bad situation isn't actually everything is screwed from contextual anecdotes. It's implied but not fully stated that as long as Dante's head remains intact he can be recovered. So basically he can intervene at literally a hair's breadth away from mission failure and not an inch sooner according to the description of his contract.
Vergilius showing up is when I knew this Canto was gonna be truly special. And 6-48 was when Canto 6 was truly cemented as THE best Canto we’ve seen so far. Project Moon truly outdid themselves here
8:50 I think technically, the sinners could have survived the Wild Hunt. The issue wasn't holding them back and continuing to kill them (I mean hell in gameplay most people are barely breaking a sweat by the time Vergilius shows up, especially if you have healing EGO), the issue was that the sinner's lacked the raw power to push past the Wild Hunt and pursue Erlking Heathcliff to stop their plans. Presumably, once Erlking had done their thing, they would have left our world and proceeded to the next world, and the Wild Hunt would have followed. The sinners would likely survive. But Erlking would win, and our Heathcliff would never recover mentally. So Vergilius decided it was time to step in, at the cost of a contract violation. He held back the Hunt on his own, and gave the sinners the opening they needed to be able to pursue the Erlking. Alternatively, he just hates the ring and their Window experiments so much that he just really wanted to fuck em up.
This canto was pure peak. I'm pretty sure we all got misty eyed if not full on crying. Man... And of course another banger from Mili just elevated it as always.
As per your point about Nelly, i dont think the point of it is that she "betrays" Heathcliff, as only viewing it from that framing doesnt tell the full perspective. Nelly's ultimately the fulcrum for how canto 6 was set up, but i think her line saying "this manor was never on your side" is more than just a traitor's "it makes perfect sense" line, because i think it positions Nelly and her reasoning also as a product of Wuthering Heights. Which Heathcliff gets, and why he chooses to free her
Oh also most of your content focuses on gameplay aspects but i also respect your opinion on story and story analysis so more videos like this would be great : )

yea no MVP for the canto was Cinq Don for me, I would have distorted on distorted Heathcliff if don wasn't the chosen one for being targetted on, and i love her new ego outfit wise
@raymond7873 It screwed me out of the second buff, made Gregor too slow to clash, resulting in me not being able to clash one of the attacks, which hit my Sunshower Heathcliff just enough to corrode too soon, resulting in Heathcliff killing 3 teammates (the only enemy target left at the time was Catherine's main body since I just barely took out the hands the turn before), so my team was in shambles going into the final EveryCliff fight with low hp and sanity. I couldn't hold out for the rest of the fight when the remaining 3 sinners just kept making terrible rolls and so little health to work with. The final nail in the coffin was finding out that the last buff that Heathcliff gets in the fight is refilling his sanity to full and giving him 10 sanity every turn, literally the worst thing for Sunshower to get. Obviously, yeah, the fight wasn't going perfect before that roll, but for a first try, it was going mostly fine until that point, and if that single flip hadn't screwed me I can confidently say that it would have been a first try extremely cinematic clear.

This chapter tore my heart out and stomped it into a fine paste, then scooped up the remains and put it back in me like "Here, go be normal and don't start screaming into the void now," I loved it, it was great.
I feel the way the sapling of light is implemented could be better. Once per day, or however many charges we get per day; makes it so that if you ever need to rely on it, you'll still need the luck to win afterwards, otherwise it's wasted and Esgoo's RR4 worst team attempt has to start all over or wait 24 hours... Still a very cool ability overall and I'm happy that Dante gets some involvement in the fights other than yelling(ticking) at corroded sinners and trying to make Heathcliff listen to strategy.
Pretty sure it’s only used when you win (either that or it’s actually just once per fight in the story, since I used two back to back when trying to beat the canto’s final boss)
Have a though about the "Dough" appears in this canto: If we recall the purpose of Purple Tear doing her things from Ruina to Leviathan, she doing all of this is for her to reunion with her long death son. And here's the "dough" give me hint to what she actually try to achieve. As Herman said, their purpose of the experiment in the mansion is to collecting data in order for them to over come the current limitation of only perfectly bring other mirror world identity to base world. Maybe by overcome this limitation, Purple Tear can recreate her dead son without bring other possibilities identity from mirror world
I think the "primordial human" Hermann wants to create must be a neccesary part for the destruction of the Mirror worlds. A primordial human (for example Every Cathy) was probably supposed to exist in all mirror worlds at the same time, stopping numerous possibilities from occuring, shaping them to be just like our "original" world.
oh boy, Canto VI just finished but CAN'T WAIT FOR CANTO VII ALREADY, also next es don so the expectations are high. I just hope PM keeps doing these bangers all the time, cause hell, dont know how they can get better at this point, and while the story is a bit lacking in some aspects, it was a rollercoaster.
So I just finished canto six and oh my God!!! This was so good like what the heck this was so good. The story was amazing. The animation was amazing. I’m a sucker for when games do meta-stuff so seeing clear all Cathy on the modified title screen had me so giddy.

You know, with how this game is now showing the Sinners use their Ego's for story beats, I wait for the day Ishmael uses her harpoon and Sinclair or Ryoshu cut the enemy while ishmael drags them in
I assume Ryoshu's ego will play a big part in her canto actually; hopefully they do something about Sinclair's ego who was never truly explained or made use of in the story.
Absolutely loved canto 6, it's crazy to think that when first playing limbus company Heathcliff was the only character I didn't like, yet now I'm at a point where I just love all the characters so much and Heathcliff has easily gotten into my top 5.

that's the thing: it's not just a concept incinerator. That I believe is limited purely to just that world, and I'm fairly certain that in theory something incinerated can still be recreated eventually, there's just literally zero traces to help guide you. Cathy was completely and utterly removed from ALL universes, with only two people in all those possibilities that remember

Personally, my favorite CG in all of Limbus so far is Erlking Heathcliff on his headless horse leading his freakshow posse out of the basement. Also, I wasn't fully aware of the cool audio stuff they do with the song during the Erlking Heathcliff/Every Cathy battle until I listened to an upload of the song on youtube and realized it felt wrong, prompting me to go back and check what was up. Overall, I agree that this was the best Canto yet and I don't see even PM topping 6-48 for a long time.
Man I would have loved your reaction to Erlking heathcliff being born form the Dough. Maybe it's because I'm a big fan of alucard, but holy shit. That moment had my mouth drop to the floor even though it was expected he'd come back. I didn't god damn expect him to just start resurrecting the dead of multiple universes under his mindless command.
I'm genuinely so happy because this shows clear power growth for Dante. Not emotional or his care for the sinners, Dante has TIME POWERS now. This is already singularity level. Not the first singularity Limbus Company has used but still.

Your combat tutorial video was seriously useful for me, so I wanted to ask if you have considered making more onboarding recourses for new players? I would personally be very interested in a video going over how to optimize the grinding process. I'm struggling to figure out what I should be prioritizing.
Advancing the story would be my suggestion.. Since some, if not most contents are locked behind story progression... (Also the story is fire) For grinding optimization... I have nothing to say about it since i play this game casually, just.. Do your dailies i guess? (Perhaps the person below me knows better) Adding friends would be advised since you can borrow their ID(s?). Though, seems like borrowing them wouldn't really be an absolute necessity since i've seen someone clearing endgame content (which is already kinda hard to some extent) with the worst IDs Also as you might've heard from others, this game gacha is very generous, if you want to spend, majority of people would recommend getting the battlepass instead..
Grinding Optimization is a bit iffy, i would say doing dailies/weeklies and spamming mirror dungeons (1 hard if you're confident and/or infinite normals since after the weekly boosts hard and normal give the same pass exp) for the levels is good, but after you get to max pass level, Dungeons only give shard boxes at that point so you would need to do exp luxcavations to level sinners up (unless you don't wanna do the combat, dont use the skip battle option. its a waste) and you can use the shard boxes for threads if you really need/want to uptie (Thread Lux isn't great, this one i would say use the skip or don't even do them just because the fights are mostly a drag for grinding).
fun fact about vergilius! he does have actual skill numbers, and his worst is a 3 coin 22+18. his best is a 5 coin 6 attack weight 60+40. he has 5500 hp and is level 90. he panics at -46 sp. his speed range is 30-40.

Which while bad situation isn't actually everything is screwed from contextual anecdotes. It's implied but not fully stated that as long as Dante's head remains intact he can be recovered.
So basically he can intervene at literally a hair's breadth away from mission failure and not an inch sooner according to the description of his contract.

8:50 I think technically, the sinners could have survived the Wild Hunt. The issue wasn't holding them back and continuing to kill them (I mean hell in gameplay most people are barely breaking a sweat by the time Vergilius shows up, especially if you have healing EGO), the issue was that the sinner's lacked the raw power to push past the Wild Hunt and pursue Erlking Heathcliff to stop their plans. Presumably, once Erlking had done their thing, they would have left our world and proceeded to the next world, and the Wild Hunt would have followed. The sinners would likely survive. But Erlking would win, and our Heathcliff would never recover mentally. So Vergilius decided it was time to step in, at the cost of a contract violation. He held back the Hunt on his own, and gave the sinners the opening they needed to be able to pursue the Erlking.
Alternatively, he just hates the ring and their Window experiments so much that he just really wanted to fuck em up.
Why not a little of both possibilities?

As per your point about Nelly, i dont think the point of it is that she "betrays" Heathcliff, as only viewing it from that framing doesnt tell the full perspective. Nelly's ultimately the fulcrum for how canto 6 was set up, but i think her line saying "this manor was never on your side" is more than just a traitor's "it makes perfect sense" line, because i think it positions Nelly and her reasoning also as a product of Wuthering Heights. Which Heathcliff gets, and why he chooses to free her

@raymond7873 It screwed me out of the second buff, made Gregor too slow to clash, resulting in me not being able to clash one of the attacks, which hit my Sunshower Heathcliff just enough to corrode too soon, resulting in Heathcliff killing 3 teammates (the only enemy target left at the time was Catherine's main body since I just barely took out the hands the turn before), so my team was in shambles going into the final EveryCliff fight with low hp and sanity. I couldn't hold out for the rest of the fight when the remaining 3 sinners just kept making terrible rolls and so little health to work with. The final nail in the coffin was finding out that the last buff that Heathcliff gets in the fight is refilling his sanity to full and giving him 10 sanity every turn, literally the worst thing for Sunshower to get.
Obviously, yeah, the fight wasn't going perfect before that roll, but for a first try, it was going mostly fine until that point, and if that single flip hadn't screwed me I can confidently say that it would have been a first try extremely cinematic clear.

I feel the way the sapling of light is implemented could be better. Once per day, or however many charges we get per day; makes it so that if you ever need to rely on it, you'll still need the luck to win afterwards, otherwise it's wasted and Esgoo's RR4 worst team attempt has to start all over or wait 24 hours...
Still a very cool ability overall and I'm happy that Dante gets some involvement in the fights other than yelling(ticking) at corroded sinners and trying to make Heathcliff listen to strategy.
Pretty sure it’s only used when you win (either that or it’s actually just once per fight in the story, since I used two back to back when trying to beat the canto’s final boss)

Have a though about the "Dough" appears in this canto: If we recall the purpose of Purple Tear doing her things from Ruina to Leviathan, she doing all of this is for her to reunion with her long death son.
And here's the "dough" give me hint to what she actually try to achieve. As Herman said, their purpose of the experiment in the mansion is to collecting data in order for them to over come the current limitation of only perfectly bring other mirror world identity to base world.
Maybe by overcome this limitation, Purple Tear can recreate her dead son without bring other possibilities identity from mirror world
I think the "primordial human" Hermann wants to create must be a neccesary part for the destruction of the Mirror worlds. A primordial human (for example Every Cathy) was probably supposed to exist in all mirror worlds at the same time, stopping numerous possibilities from occuring, shaping them to be just like our "original" world.

So I just finished canto six and oh my God!!! This was so good like what the heck this was so good. The story was amazing. The animation was amazing. I’m a sucker for when games do meta-stuff so seeing clear all Cathy on the modified title screen had me so giddy.

I assume Ryoshu's ego will play a big part in her canto actually; hopefully they do something about Sinclair's ego who was never truly explained or made use of in the story.
Absolutely loved canto 6, it's crazy to think that when first playing limbus company Heathcliff was the only character I didn't like, yet now I'm at a point where I just love all the characters so much and Heathcliff has easily gotten into my top 5.

that's the thing: it's not just a concept incinerator. That I believe is limited purely to just that world, and I'm fairly certain that in theory something incinerated can still be recreated eventually, there's just literally zero traces to help guide you.

Personally, my favorite CG in all of Limbus so far is Erlking Heathcliff on his headless horse leading his freakshow posse out of the basement.
Also, I wasn't fully aware of the cool audio stuff they do with the song during the Erlking Heathcliff/Every Cathy battle until I listened to an upload of the song on youtube and realized it felt wrong, prompting me to go back and check what was up.
Overall, I agree that this was the best Canto yet and I don't see even PM topping 6-48 for a long time.

Hey Esgoo! I just started playing within the last few weeks, and while I'm starting to get the hang of things I'm still feeling a little lost. Your combat tutorial video was seriously useful for me, so I wanted to ask if you have considered making more onboarding recourses for new players? I would personally be very interested in a video going over how to optimize the grinding process. I'm struggling to figure out what I should be prioritizing.
Advancing the story would be my suggestion.. Since some, if not most contents are locked behind story progression... (Also the story is fire)
For grinding optimization... I have nothing to say about it since i play this game casually, just.. Do your dailies i guess? (Perhaps the person below me knows better)
Adding friends would be advised since you can borrow their ID(s?). Though, seems like borrowing them wouldn't really be an absolute necessity since i've seen someone clearing endgame content (which is already kinda hard to some extent) with the worst IDs
Also as you might've heard from others, this game gacha is very generous, if you want to spend, majority of people would recommend getting the battlepass instead..
Grinding Optimization is a bit iffy, i would say doing dailies/weeklies and spamming mirror dungeons (1 hard if you're confident and/or infinite normals since after the weekly boosts hard and normal give the same pass exp) for the levels is good, but after you get to max pass level, Dungeons only give shard boxes at that point so you would need to do exp luxcavations to level sinners up (unless you don't wanna do the combat, dont use the skip battle option. its a waste) and you can use the shard boxes for threads if you really need/want to uptie (Thread Lux isn't great, this one i would say use the skip or don't even do them just because the fights are mostly a drag for grinding).
Honestly Canto 6 is so peak I'd love to see more reactions to it, perhaps I should do a reaction video too if I didn't stream with Axe :donwicked:
