Totally agree with you, I would argue buying on the private market is a great option because even some of these newer, nicer cars are available to own for anywhere from 5-15k
I remember being so indifferent over thousands of dollars at the dealership and regretting it once the payments started coming due lol. Decided to pay off the entire 3-year loan 2.5 years early
I’ve been financing cars for the past 10 years. I always trade in before the warranty is up. I also get full service plans. Completely worth it in the long run man.

Buying cash from a private seller is the best way to get a deal
I was going to do this but decided not to because there was the interest ontop plus the repairs too. It added up to too much.
