    This pedal was made for you Bill! This didn't even feel like a pedal demo, but more like you in your element. So good!!

    It's so cool that your pedal demos are always such a head rush/goosebump affair. :-)

    Very professional video Bill: the story line, the imaging, the sound. And what a beautiful pedal that is, with a style and a character all of its own. Great how you run, almost, wild in the last 2/3 of the video in the modes demos. For me the Tape mode and the magenta modes sounded best.
    Really enjoyed this video, after a somewhat longer absence from your channel. Thank you!
    And hopefully we'll see and hear some more of you with this pedal on a future release ...

      Thanks so much and glad you are here!! If you have not already seen, I posted a performance piece with the Everest a couple of days ago. Hope to do more as we get into the new year. ruclips.net/video/UEgQYK2b3HM/видео.html

    I love Shift line cause they're from Russia, and the pedal is undeniably great but to be honest the dude plays in such a way that I think he would sound good with pretty much any dealy pedal XD

    Great demo. Love my everest 2! Check out the prism ii. Would love to hear you play through that! They're quite the combo on my board. 🍻

    That was AWESOME. I have been "into" ambient guitar for a long time. I play guitar, but not so much on soloing. I know the guitar fretboard and scales good, but couldn't solo as well as I liked. I got a keyboard and put the stickers with the notes on the keys. I can see the inversions and chords on the key board way better than I can on the guitar. I can make melodies much easier on the key board. So I learn or make a riff or a progression on the keys... then play it on the guitar, all over the fret board. I'm using your techniques and your phrasing style is rubbing off on me. I approach making music the way Zappa talked about the key note has a musical cloud around it and you kinda build "air scape" with notes. I have a ebow and I use it on a sustainiac guitar. Talk about a guitar that sings, you should try it. I'm also running my key board thru the pedals and looping it, then play guitar over that... so many possibilities from loops, effects and tones. Thanks for guiding me into playing a form of guitar I have always loved , Bill . I'm really enjoying playing along with your videos.

    Bill you should check the Collision Devices products. I think you would love them!

    Its a lot easier to use than the big sky and time line and saves space. The collider is also good if you want to leave the strymons at home.

    How you compare to Everest 2 to the Stymon El Capistan? The game changer for me is the ability to plug my headphones directly into the pedal. In NOT a computer guy. Strictly pedal/ guitars/ amp- headphone. Loving both of these. May purchase both pedals anyway. Make a little Everest-SG-Stymon sammich. Any thoughts? BTW...Great demo. Well done...well done. 🎼✌😃🎼

      @chordsoforion  2 года назад +2

      I don't think one can really compare the Everest to the El Capistan, as they do radically different things and would serve very different purposes on a pedalboard. The El Cap seeks to be all about tape style delay, and the Everest of course, seeks to blend reverbs and delays together.

      I don't think this has a headphone out?

    • @chordsoforion
      @chordsoforion  2 года назад +1

      That is correct - no headphone outs on the Everest or the El Cap.

      Pedals don't usually have headphones output, but I often connect headphones to pedals, even in stereo. You need a Y connector, also I use preamp in front on pedals to emulate sound of an amp and cabinet. But some headphones are too quite, depends on a resistance.
      Also El Capistan is just a delay and usually you need some reverb after it.

    Is it only me or all modes sound very close to each other?

      Not for me, some of them instantly stood out.

      I noticed that on the demo too, but the algorithms are actually very distinct combinations with their own idiosyncrasies.
