There are worse things than spending an extra day in Ireland!!! Great to hear you enjoyed yourself :) Those donuts look amazing.. !!! Enjoy your time with Eric, Luna and the rest of the family!!
The old saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade” holds true for this Vlog and you made the most of your delay. It was so sweet for Eric to help you pack over FaceTime. I Always enjoy your Vlogs and I’m looking forward to the next one. Take care!
If anyone is wondering about the “British flags” in the cathedral, they are battle flags of regiments Irish men fought in under British rule. They date mostly from the 19th century and wars like the Napoleonic wars, Crimea, World War I etc. Some are later commemorating Irishmen who fought in WWII.
I had the good fortune of touring Ireland 6 weeks ago. Spent 4 days in beautiful Dublin. Went to many of the landmarks you visited. I too bought donuts! Loved the visit to Trinity College.
Hello, Julia! it's so pleasent to me watchiing your videos, becase I'm learning english and I want to become a flight attendant like you. Thanks for posting, and hugs from Brazil!🎉❤
I love your videos of your travels. You have some great layovers. I also love.Luna. I miss my dog so much. He passed away a few months ago so seeing Luna makes me so happy.❤
@@JettingJulia Hi, will a new flight attendant be able to fly mostly international? I want to fly mostly international but then the famous international airline like emirates, ethihad, etc do not have their base in the US and i don't want to live in the middle east. Do you know of any airlines where new flight attendant fly international in their first year? For the record, i speak German, french, japenese and mandarin.
Woo! Chapters! A Dublin fixture for decades. They had a closing down sale about two years ago and everyone was so upset (but delighted with all the great buys). Thankfully re-opened a few months later although with greatly reduced floorspace.
Requirements of a FA: Flexibility and patience!! 😄 Glad you enjoyed Dublin, but it's always good to get home❤. "Hi" to Eric and Miss Luna!! Have a great week 🙏
I understand the ups and downs of being cancelled but it looks like you had a wonderful time ! Love your flying camera , that’s awesome ! Glad you had a safe trip ! 🤗🙏🏻
Hello. I can’t help but notice that you really LOVE books. Can i know what’s it you like the most? I know it may sound silly, but i also want to develop a habit of reading. Thanks a lot.
That choir sounded lovely. And those donuts looked the same :) I may be a donut-a-holic..lol ..but normally don't like cream/custard/jelly in them. I see Luna girl hardly missed you. 🤭 Nice peak of the Philly skyline @10:35
I am new here. Great videos. How wonderful to get to hear the choir of the church of St. Patrick’s. I love to hear a choir singing in the church. Makes my heart and soul sing. Best wishes.
Hi Julia. I have just been super busy, so finally got around to watching your videos. Glad you had a good day on your unexpected extra day in Dublin. Those donuts look amazing, and glad you finally got back to Philadelphia and to see Eric and MIss Luna.
So happy you found and got your book and those donuts look delicious ~ Ireland looks beautiful ~ Happy Birthday to Eric ~ can't wait to see your Wildwood celebration trip!
I was in Wildwood New Jersey years ago and we were friendly with a local sheriff who took us in to visit years after we played soccer there !! Great place 👍🏻🇨🇦
Hi, Julia! Happy Tuesday and Happy belated Independence Day!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸🗽🎇🌷💖💖💖💖💖💖🛫💖💖🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. Your trip to Dublin, Ireland was super awesome! The church, the beautiful restaurants and the incredible view of the cruise ship! WOW!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍.
I just got back from Ireland and Scotland. Went on Delta RDU to JFK to Scotland was there for 10days. Yes it was cold. left coming back out of Dublin. I was there the same time as you. Dublin to JFK to RDU.
Hoi, Julia, real interesting stuff, well done. Ireland is beautiful, been to Dublin, Cork, Kerry, Donegal, Knock. But you know my favourite in Europe is Greece!.
Gourmet donuts!! Now that is a person after my heart! Looks like you did find a good use of the extra day. One thing I would suggest to those finding themselves with an extra day in a place they are visiting! Is the hop on hop off tourist busses. Usually not expensive and they can take you to allot of interesting places. Hope you had a good fourth!
That was a Fantastic Trip ( with the unexpected extra day and. Half ) 😜 those Donuts looked so tasty 😋 Hope you had a wonderful few days away with Erics Family. Celebrating his Birthday together 😊 Have a Good evening 🥰

Great vlog as always, Julia. I was wondering if the Blarney stone is in Dublin, and, if so, did you get to see it? It's always great to see miss Luna. So, did Eric like the doughnut?
No, the Blarney Stone is not in Dublin as the it would be called the Dublin Stone.😊 It’s in Blarney, Co Cork which is in a completely different part of the country.
I spent many hours in the Dublin airport waiting for our flight to Liverpool, (destination Wales)... a very nice place for a layover. Next time, Dublin will be the destination...great vlog!! Thank you, Julia! ❤
Same thing happen to my parents on there return trip from Ireland there flight and had to fight with American Airlines to get to pay for extra day in Ireland and my dad had to miss a day of work because of the cancelled flight he has since retired he was a doctor for 42 years but eventually paid for meals and extra night at there hotel
Glad you enjoyed your time but I just feel you could have done so much more in Dublin like trying more pubs and restaurants with modern Irish food rather than pizza, pasta and room service. Things you missed in Dublin in no particular order are Grafton St and St Stephen’s Green, the GPO, Halfpenny bridge, Guinness Brewery, Collins Barracks Museum, Phoenix Park, Klimainham Gaol,, National Gallery, National Library and Museum, Merrion Square, Christ Church, Famine Sculptures to name but a few. You also wanted to a long excursion to Cliffs of Moher which I think is a bad idea from Dublin as you’d. spend most of your time in a bus, better to do that as part of proper holiday in Ireland with a car, but you could have hopped on a train called the Dart, and gone to Howth, beautiful fishing village with nice walks or to Dun Laoghaire, Dalkey or Bray which are nice coastal spots. Also you should visit pubs and music venues as Ireland is a musical country, and then whilst in the pub get chatting to local people who will be friendly and that will enhance your experience and make want to go back. I appreciate you had little and some unexpected scheduling but I don’t feel you really experienced a true Ireland.
Woahhhh I am going to argue in my defense that I spent my time exactly how I wanted to. Which as travelers is all we can strive for! I personally do NOT enjoy loud bars, crowds or loud music so going to be a busy pub with people I do not know for ME would NOT be fun. I only had two days and I did the book of kells, trinity college, walked for hours to see the city, st Patrick’s cathedral, visited many local bookstores to support local business, ate great food and got proper rest before working the flight home. This isn’t a vacation and I already know I’ll be able to go back on another flight. Also I hate beer, I hardly ever drink alcohol so why force myself to do something like that at the museum or a brewery. Thank you for watching but I am very happy with my experience and at the end of the day that’s all that matters
@@JettingJulia neither my wife nor I eat seafood, but there was a place in Howth….can’t miss it, it was as close as we ever came. We still talk about it.

We travelled to Ireland 1.5 years ago, only one week and so great food and drink and country. It make me want to go back again soon, have flown over many times from N. America to Ukraine and back.
It's always a flight attendant's dream to have your flight cancel if you don't have plans for the next day at home. It's pretty ironic that three or four days ago, my roommate was also in Dublin, and their flight was canceled as well.
While it may be sad to see your flight home cancelled, at least you spent an extra day in Dublin and listened to the lovely choir. But I'm glad that you made it home! (Tip for passengers: why not claim for compensation if a flight from the EU was delayed/cancelled by at least 3 hours and was within the airlines' control?)
@@RustySax1949 I actually forgot that it has to be within the airlines control for this to be eligible. Cause UK trains allow compensation whether or not it was within their control. Edited comment
I'm surprised that your donuts made it past Customs & Immigration! TSA at LAX got upset at my bringing a half-dozen back from my favorite neighbor hood place in Monrovia... Good video!
Love your video. This happened to me a few times regarding your leftovers. You should of went downstairs to the check in desk in your hotel. I’m sure they would of gave you a fork. 🤗👏☀️
Hi Julia, a personal advise… I never regret that. If I like something and I can afford it, I’m going to buy it. Because every time, if I don’t buy the thing I wanna buy and just leave it in store, I always regret that I never regret anything I buy. 🤷♀️☺️☺️
Uh……..Catholic is Christian. In fact, it’s the original Christian religion. Every other Christian religion is an offshoot from Catholicism. And that church is actually Anglican (episcopalian in American terms).
So it looks like being a flight attendant, you don’t have a room checkout time. Are they special hotels just for flight crew or just policy for flight crew at regular hotels?

Flights going east are always faster, at least in the northern hemisphere as the winds blow west to east.
was your flight affected by the system outage by Crowdstrike updating?
So if it's the middle of summer, how cold is it in Ireland? I see a lot of jackets, which looks odd with the heat wave we've had in Philly.
