This band released the ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2020 in my personal opinion! Definitely it's the NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR in Symphonic, Melodic Power Metal. Since their first tour was cancelled due to the Corona pandemic, thank you Napalm Records for recording the very first live show of Ad Infinitum and for publishing it online, free and worldwide! It comes the same day, when the cancelled live show in Headcrash Hamburg with Visions of Atlantis was scheduled. 🤟

@@MetFemVoices Dark Sarah, Burning Witches were amazing too, ordered also the new Amaranthe (who are friends with Melissa ) EPICA will have a new album too and the album of Illumishade also, still a lot to wait for, but yes Melissa and the guys were the big surprise for me =) PS just checked back Epica's album will come out in february 2021.
The Murder of my Sweet also have tremendous qualities but it's clear that the new album of Ad Infinitum is just huge !! Certainly the best album of metal of this year :-)

I’m already a fan of Rage Of Light and Melissa’s alter ego with Warkings as The Queen Of The Damned. Here though is the best showcase of her incredible vocal talent, her voice is so pure and clear yet so strong and full of power and range. And I can’t fault the rest of the band at all, what a fantastic performance, particularly in view of the absence of an audience. It can’t be easy to give it your all when there’s nobody there watching and cheering, so kudos to Melissa and the guys for bringing such a professional and emotive show nonetheless. I look forward to seeing you in a real live show once this virus is over. Stay safe. Stay metal. 🤘🏻🙂👍🏻
OK, I found Ad Infinitum a few months ago when Unstoppable came out and have been back tracking to the first album. I am really loving both albums and have them on heavy repeat! They are quickly rising up towards the top of the favorite bands list! This was a great live show, and like many people have said, I really hope they come to the states to tour ASAP! My one complaint is that a band with this big of a sound should just go ahead and bring on a keyboard player! Their songs have some gorgeous keyboard parts and to just have them recorded to play at a live show is doing them a disservice!. This band is going places and a keyboardist would really seal the deal. Just my humble opinion.
I predicted this band to become big when Marching on Versailles was releases - so please, metal world, do your magic and let me be right about this! They're GOOD!

Melissa Bonny other band is Rage Of Light which is a heavy metal band. Heavier singing than this but love both her bands

@@alexblack4048 Honestly not my cup of tea. I love Ad Infinitum and their musicianship. But whoever did the sound engineering on their second album really fucked it up. It’s so flat. There is no dynamic range at all. Especially true for Son of Walachia. Bonnys voice almost sounds hollow to me on this one. Hope to hear that track life someday with good sound engineering. Because it is an awesome composition.

Ad Infinitum is the best thing to happen to the Symphonic Metal genre in a very long time. It won't be long until we see Melissa mentioned in the same breath as Floor Jansen, Alissa White-Gluz and Simone Simons as not only one of the top female vocalists, but one of the best vocalists in all of metal.

That was wonderful watching my 3rd virtual concert during quarantine so far, I just wish there was some merch I could buy to go along with it.
This is beyond exceptional... A few elements remind me of LEAH (Leah McHenry), but this is definitely her unique sound and feel. Someone said in the stream of the studio album that everything she touches is fantastic; that is definitely true... The acoustic portion is just chilling and shows everyone's raw talent. I'm definitely looking forward to more from this young lady.

Melissa is creative and unique in her endeavors. Equally creative is this band - impressive and artistic. It’s refreshing and exciting to hear metal that is symphonic but also sounds like ‘80s rock in some parts. All these unique sounds are mixed in. It’s fun to rock out to. “Chapter II: Legacy” is not only also a great album but it has great sound production. Ad Infinitum is satisfying.
Usually I'll wait, y'know? I'll watch at least half a concert before I decide if I like what I hear. I made it 3 minutes before I realized I was smiling and headbanging. Only Epica and Haley Reinhart gets the insta-love, now Ad Infinitum, too. They kill live! Best thing I could be doing at 3 am.
Second album is amazing.
I have the same feeling listening to this band as I had the first time I heard Epica.
If you haven't already, you should check out Kamelot. As I understand it, they are the inspiration for Melissa creating Ad Infinitum. My personal favorite albums (of Kamelot) are The Black Halo and Silverthorn.

послушай проект вокалистки Rage of Light - очень оригинален и интересен. а эта скукотища - одна из многих безликих команд в череде совершенно одинаковых групп, да ещё и под неоригинальным названием, делимым ещё минимум с одним американским мультиинструменталистом, а ещё 3 группы с таким именем уже разбежались.
я сюда зашёл послушать Мелиссу вживую, но, во-первых, не впечатляет, а во-вторых, что-то не верится в "живость" записи. Зрителей нет, звук прилизан, никакого эха. может, конечно, с пульта запись исключительно, да ещё и обработана в студии, но тогда смысл?
