Because most school teachers back in the day wanted to stuff the student's brain with dates, fill-in-the-blanks, and question answers so they could get grades and forget everything after getting promoted to the next year. History wasn't taught as a connecting bridge of past events to the present moment, and neither did the teachers care more about sparking interest in the student's mind.

@Ronit Mehta thanks Sir
Iam highly fascinated and obsessed with the era b/w 1900-1950, like both wws, many great scientists and revolutionaries lived during this period, development in nuclear physics , use of atom bombs and many more things which obviously I can't fit in a comment, I have nearly watched all ww2 movies I wish I could have lived during this period.
Thanks for the history. Please share the link for part 2
Love watching your videos, not just because they bring well-researched and lucidly-presented educative material but also because they aim to put things in perspective. In this case, glad that you pointed out how millions have died fighting futile wars, often manipulated into fighting someone else's war. Even today, we haven’t quite learnt to resolve disputes without force.

Sir your way of explaining World War 1 was amazing. I was totally immersed in the video for the whole of 22 minutes.
The graphics you used to describe the War was easy to grasp than what I had read in Class 9 and 10.
Would like to see more of such videos on geopolitics..
Even my social teacher didn't explain it well ty brooooo❤
I think the best version of "World War 1" explanation heard so far. Good job brother. Waiting for the part 2.
Watching 22 min with full focus. that's the quality content you give to your viewers 👏 👌.really appreciating.

Man!!! I'm so glued to your videos because of your way of explaining complex things in a much simpler manner. Please bring part 2 soon🥺
Can you please give the link of part 2 ..... can't find it anywhere 🥺
Finally finding some guys who got the same doubt as mine.
20:38 so true..
Legend boxer Md Ali is also an example, who later on in 1967, refused to participate in Vietnam War for same reason.
The history books that we read in our school days never mentioned the real reason for wars but the dates and places of war were mentioned clearly. I wish they made it interesting for students in school
Hai
Per wo book ka nahi teachers ka job hai unhe reasearch karke organise tarike se samjhana sahiye
This man has the skill, that make complex thing too more simpler.... 🙌🏼🙌🏼 and keep giving us knowledgeable treats like this🙏🏼
Correct h esi hi video mene bhi bnayi h pls support feedback bhi dena
This truly matches with what i had studied in history class 10 which I'm in rn... The slavic countries had tension as many while gaining independence wanted more and more land, and involvement of large European powers in this led to WW1, this is what is mentioned in my history book
Bro i didnt understood the entire lecture in this video. Even though I watched it 2 time bro..
The way Dhruv analyses content for a video then translate it in much easier way so that everyone can understand it without much difficulty is just beautiful to think of...!
In depth explanation really amazing.. Me watching from Pakistan🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰
He uses top notch clips, images and PNG's to make it easy for us to understand...
Really many Pakistani🇵🇰 watch His videos❤❤❤
Thanks a lot Dhruv bro
Legend!! You are doing a great job of making people realize the truth about war and destruction.
after I started watching your videos
I became more curious to gain information
I utilised my time and used it wisely
Instead of scrolling on the internet
I started learning from it
U make the history more fun to learn
Please don't consider random youtube videos (no matter how great the production quality, and how popular the creator) as a surrogate for actual cited, peer reviewed, verified and documented information. There is a lot of misinformation out there, you should see a video like this and then do your own research, through trusted and verified sources after. I suggest sites like wikipedia, and more importantly, the sources they cite in their 'references' section.

I had studied World War 1 & 2 in school days.I understood most of the confusing incidents via this video.
