- Calling all Pellegrinotes ! My first ever album titled "This Time" is being released on Sunday , September 1st on ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS !! Please enjoy a preview of the album with this beautifully made lyric video of the first song I've ever written , "Happening To Me" . This lyric video was created by JKL Productions (link below) !
As I mentioned above , "Happening To Me" is the first song I've ever written . I wrote it about 5 years ago now (crazy !!!) , so this song has legitimately been YEARS in the making . I just could never get it right , ya know ?! Finally , with the help of Doug Beacon Studios (contact below) , we were able to bring "Happening To Me" to life in a way that I feel is perfect... and I hope y'all agree !!
Please enjoy this song , as it means the absolute world to me . I wrote it at a weird time in my life where everything in the world was going wrong , so the song itself is not about one specific thing . So , you can take the song however you want ! Make it mean whatever it means to you . Let me know in the comments what this song means to you; we're all going through different things , let it out !

Emi, I absolutely loved this song. I am sure the rest of the album is going to be just as great. I missed seeing you especially in that BEAUTIFUL red girlie girl dress. I can recognize you are probably just as athletic as I still am as I grew up an athletic tomboy from playing with all the boys, but I had that one special girl I told you about that I did feminine things with & now I have gone full girlie girl in dresses & heels all the time. Gosh, Emi, this is a beautifully crafted, anthemic song! Loved the chord progressions and the arrangement. As an audio engineer, I could hear all the care and high production values you went after, successfully. I sure hope the lyrics aren't, or at least, are only partially autobiographical, as this reflects a painful place to be, in one's life. But, we always seem to learn so much more from disappointments, rather than joy, in this "boot camp" we all signed up for, called "human life." So, just in case, let me share this thought (that my psychotherapist wife comforts her clients with, constantly): YOU ARE ENOUGH! God infused you with special gifts to this world and, every time you use them, someone (whom you may never meet) is positively impacted! Your dreams may never be fully realized (though there's always hope for otherwise), but the PROCESS you've undertaken, to make them reality, is what contains the hidden blessings you'll leave behind. If you can conceive it, you can believe it and you can achieve it!

Just listened to this - great composition and lyrics - will not, unfortunately, be a hit. But, so very few are! You have talent! Sir Paul McCartney has something like 40 US #1 songs.... but has written thousands - imagine (no pun intended - John wrote that one!) if he had become discouraged after his first try! I liked your vocals in this - I felt it was "Emi" singing, not the technician :)

I just have to say that I hope you have truly have moved past your thoughts of being "good enough". Why in songs do some people not fully enunciate words. Like in this song "Happening" I'm only heaing "happe" or "happen" but never the full word. Been wounding this for a while now. You being great singer and amazing vocal coach, so I thought I'd finally ask you about it.
Nick Clark It depends on how many Syllables you're trying to fit in . Like if I said "Why does this keep Hap-Pen-Ing to me" it's a lot more than "why does this keep Hap-Neng to me". Make sense ? It's purely to fit it in there more fluently. Good ear !!
