That motivation speech Rekkles gave to the team, when they were 0-4 and demotivated, was actually so heartwarming and mature. He really is the big brother to these rookies that he comforts and inspires to be better. I'm so glad they are finally picking up wins. I really hope they manage to secure playoffs. It would be a huge milestone for them, especially since they couldn't even do it last year.
he's like the faker of T1A
I'm honestly more hyped about T1 Academy than LEC :D
wait GBM is T1A head coach didnt even realize
Who is he?
@@manishdash1543 GankedByMom, one of the OG LCK midlaners
@@blitzcrank4840no wonder they used GBM instead lol
His xerath was so good in the poke meta. But sadly he didn’t do well after meta shifted.
@@blitzcrank4840 Also played a bit in LCS on NRG (pre-franchising NRG) so he can be a pseudo translator for rekkles too.
rekkles went 0-4 every year ande ended up winning the split anyway xD
Rekkles가 잘되었으면 좋겠어요.
응원합니다. 🙏
3:58 for T1 vlog
Thanks
Thanks
we need timestamps in these so we easier can navigate to the news that is interesting to us, think it will generate more viewers
I really hope Rekkles will come back to EU as a very good supp and end up in a superteam that might give us worlds
Nooo, i hope he stays in kore and will go to lck
EU is kinda doomed.... Rekkles going to Tier 2 Korea is actually a smart move not only for publicity but also to improve. He knows that if he wants to be a world-class support, he needs to go where talented and hard-worker people play together. LCK Challengers if skill-wise is basically a major event compared to most Riot tourney in overseas because everyone there can be a top tier talent if they ever go to NA or EU. Oh and also they get to scrim with T1 Main Team which is probably the strongest team rn
0:03 Arsene Wenger?
smash going to be one of the greats
smash is a fucking gigachad fr
Rekkles my man ❤
their botlane has always been good, smash just too aggressive in teamfight and guwon keeps running it down
elyoya is an all-time instigator.
why is fnc game not on yt?
Sauna Stuart FTW.
come here I'll warm you up 🤨
I can read Korean. What the Korean translation actually says is, "Come here, I'll give you a hug to warm you up." That translation just came out really wrong.
@@matthewchi5292 That makes so much sense thx
@@matthewchi5292its true
fnc game plss🙏
hes 20 yo what is lil bro yappin about retiring..... :D
20 years old stuck in CL, that is what he is yapping about. Each year chances of getting to LCK get lower and lower. He is as old as Zeus and look at Zeus' legacy already. He is in a League usually meant for teenagers.
@@minartson to follow that up, if he stopped studying, he needs to study again to build a different career path, or serve your military service. basically you have to make a career while having an impending military service. lucky for yall in the west you can play league without worries cuz korea is harsh.
Esport player career span are lower than traditional sport, they started at 15-16 and mostly retired at 25-26yo.
20yo it's like a 28yo in traditional sport, he supposed to be on his peak yet he stuck on CL team, that's probably why.
@@LucasHadiAnd he also not very good even by cl standard so ofcourse the dude is worried. Guma was worried and dude was talented and good af after being stuck for so long before got on the main team.
In league, around 20 years old usually means you are at your prime (at least your raw ability wise)
Micky Mouse > Rekkles
Clown > Jin Mccallister
Respect to Rekkles, dude once was a Worlds finalist and still wanted to learn and trying his skill in lower league, miles away from home without speaking korean, that's determination.
Yeah, respect ro him.
Lower league ? Lck cl is one of the best league out there
@@welsense_ I think he means lower league as in Tier 2/one that is impossible to qualify for international events through
@@greenschemegummi6295 says everything about LEC, he roleswapped to support and all the teams rejected that Idea, T1 is the one that gave him the answers to his What If's, sure he wouldn't qualify to any internationals and the language barrier added. But that alone tells you everything about EU not taking risks, jesus a lotta talented players are teamless currently.
I'm pretty sure LCK CL top teams can compete with LEC teams, but we can't deny Rekkles is doing everything that he can to win worlds, respect to that mindset.
lol at 15:07 everyone confused poby says he's cold and gbm says, c'mere i'll hug u (he doesnt say i'll warm u up, he says i'll hug u) it is not meant to be weird. skinship between same gender is very common in korea as the culture is often family-oriented
8:41 cleanest high five ive ever seen
honestly guwon is concerned since hes stuck at CL while people his age or younger are alr in LCK.. i get his concern but age doesnt define you!! look at your big bro faker!! mans gonna play till his 40s
edit: what i meant when i said "age doesnt define you" is that, sure yes. age could be a factor that limits his play, his career. (military, main roster, mechanics, etcetc) but if he keeps it up and maintains his own condition, he can prolong his career just like faker, deft, rascal. age should not be something that binds him in a box if he believes in himself.
i know he must feel pressured as zeus is younger than him and alr in the main roster, out there winning trophies. but if he does what he does best, take care of his own condition, i have no doubt he will be one of the best someday.
age is a huge factor in competitive esports due to energy, reflex, focus, raw talent etc which does not scale well into lategame. guwon is not even close to the best in the world and if he had extraordinary raw talent among korean pros it would likely have been made clear by now
@@CoffeeCatAdventures yea which probably adds on to his worry.. imagine being at his age and not being able to win even CL..(i hope they win though please bless i dont jinx this..)
@@CoffeeCatAdventures energy, reflex, focus ?? all thats just not true, there is no real research supporting this, a 24 yo will have no significant difference to a 18 yo in terms of all of these. i hate that people think of esports this way. I believe the reason is passion and burnout, if you play league every day from 14 to 20 obv you will lose passion for the game and then u become bad, but some ppl like rekkles, faker they are good cause they are still passionate and they still enjoy the game, even when they are 25+.
@@CoffeeCatAdventures This is not at all true. The difference in reflex between a 20 year old and a 30 year old is very miniscule. For example Counter Strike is a game that relies way more on reflexes and attention that League and yet a lot of the best players are even older than 30.
How long have Guwon is in T1A? I mean look at Guma hes an extraordinary talented ADC yet he got benched 2 and a half year until his LCK debut
hey where is the scene Rekkles save Smash with his ult and said " i can protect u" ?
I've been watching alot of Re:Play lately and they teased T1 academy to go up against LCK legends CuVee, Ambition, Easyhoon, Cpt. Jack, and Madlife. I really really look forward to that match and hopefully it would inspire the players
If this doesnt show how much Rekkles just wants to be better at league. idk what does. This guy clearly is taking whatever chance he can to become the best. AND think about this, if Keria was to have a wrist injury like Faker did, Rekkles is the one that has to step up. Imagine how good that would be for him to sit along side and hear the LoL god himself Faker say in games and even out of games.
Isnt that the Ganked by Mom dude who is coaching T1 Academy ?
yes that's GBM. He recently ended his military service and became a coach for T1A.
the thing about what supa said, is that in spanish, is a more joke thing
Ain't no way T1 giving Smash to a Western team lol.
He could be scouted to China though.
If T1 played it smartly with his contracts like lending him to a different team but when Guma leaves T1, Smash can have a choice in signing up for it. Of course if the team that acquires Smash is up to it.
Smash and Poby is probably their best players in Academy (excluding Rekkles because he probably gonna play for T1 for another year). There is no way that T1 would let upcoming stars go to waste
