I love kitties, so this means I'm going to keep my eye on this game when I get an opportunity to play it. I'm actually pretty fond of the music and visual aqua aesthetic of the entire game. Looking forward to that beyond epic episode 200 - make it as wonderful as you guys possible can.
TheCompletionist we'll do our best! As for Aqua Kitty, the DX version on PS4 is still a great way to play this game, though if you have a switch, it's the best version hands-down.
Bought the physical DX version for the Vita from Limited Run, opened it, put it into my system but it can't run because I need a firmware update (not going to do this because then I can't run Henkaku). Then I see this UDX version for the Switch, with more content. Definitely selling my regular "DX" version to afford this version now. Great review, thanks!
Saw this during your stream and I'm glad it was the next review in order to get a better grasp on how the various systems work. How do you feel specifically about the powerup system? The explanation and footage makes it sound like the design is almost afraid to let the player get too powerful, but if the enemies are balanced for having such a low level of shot power & spread then that's not necessarily a bad thing.
OldManSharples we have other reviews lined up until episode 203, so maybe then. You can catch our initial impressions in our live stream from a while back.
Don't forget to paws the game if you need to take a break. ;)
I hope the steam version gets updated to this! Great review as always and congrats on your upcoming 200th episode!
MOZONE it would be great if the extra content and updated visuals and sounds were added to the steam version!

This looks like fun, but oh, the backlog! I'll have to get around to it at some point :D
Hey L❤️vebirds
So it’z true huh? Cats really do like water😻
Dezmond Thornton I guess they do, so long as they don't actually get wet.

Adam Piskel it feels good. Spacing out multiple powers can lead to a never-ending stream of extra shots which is good for later levels on normal.
I don't know which is better Astro Aqua Kitty or Aqua Kitty UDX both are real good but if i had to chose one i would be stumped
Please do skyforce reloaded. I love it and would like to know your opinion
