  • This is my second video which I have made to share my user experience. I am not a sports fanatic. I am just a family guy who now owns two boards. The board is really fantastic and easy to use. Its one of the best leisure investments I have made for myself and my family. Especially during the pandemic this product brings the vacation feeling straight home. This video features me and my daughter on the ocean around my home city of Horten, Norway. I mad this review to share my experience with the electric surfboard.

    How has the range /battery life been for you?

  • @JanVozenilek
    @JanVozenilek 2 года назад

    Thanks for the great review Jon. Amazing product. Is there any indication how much battery you have left in order to start heading back to base? Would be a drag to run out when you are miles from home. I've asked the company this question and no response... which makes me a bit frustrated re: customer service if there are some issues. How have you found dealing with them? Thanks very much

      On the water proof handheld remote control there are 5 LED lights which indicates battery status. In addition the remote vibrates when battery goes below 20%. Its easy to follow the LED’s as you go. In regards to customer service I am very happy with the company.

    Question...Which waterproof earplugs do you use and do they work effectively I tend to get ear infections when my ears get wet and have tried all manner of waterproof earplugs none of which seem to work for me...BTW I came here for the board riding video which was pretty cool.

    Hi Jon,
    Is this the pro version you are riding? There is a difference of almost $2000 between standard and pro version. I am curious if I will feel a significant difference between the two. If I get the pro and use it on full throttle, that would kill the battery faster. I am thinking of which setting would keep me on the water the longest

    • @jonmrk6831
      @jonmrk6831  3 года назад +3

      I asked the same question to Radinn before ordering my second board. Extended range on the battery with standard jetpack would give me 10% more ride time. But since PRO increase acceleration by 100% and top speed by 25%, I went for the max setting. I never go full throttle for a full session, don’t think anyone would. So it’s more of a theoretical question. But 100% and 25% up isn’t 😉

    • @jonmrk6831
      @jonmrk6831  3 года назад

      @Captain Mike's Space It takes about 4 hours to recharge the battery with the regular charger that comes with the board. Battery life is about 30-40 mins depending on how far you would drain the battery before heading back to shore. I have been on a trip with a distance 8nm and still had about 20% juice left in the battery.

      Exactly. That is my experience too. Really easy and no maintenance.

      @@jonmrk6831 were you a bit worried sending that about of money online for such a big ticketed item? That’s the only thing Im Worried about, I’ve been burnt before. $20k plus is what I’m looking at AUS dollars 💸

      @@hellallnamesaretake1 If you are worried I would buy with a credit card which gives you added protection. Myself I paid with direct wire transfer from my bank account. I can admit I was a bit worried since there were some delays in shipping in june on my first board. However after being a customer now for 6 months and having received two boards I feel totally secure. I hope this helps. Its a big ticket item, but I love the product. I wish you all the best.

    How difficult is riding one of these? I've never wakeboard, only snowboard a couple of times but can skateboard. What would you expect the learning curve to be on something like this, how are you kids adapting?

    Does this work in salt water/the sea? I live on the coast in south/east Spain and we have the Mediterránea sea which has waves…

    • @jonmrk6831
      @jonmrk6831  3 года назад

      Yes it works on salt water. Its more challenging the bigger the waves. Myself I prefer low wind and calm waters early in the day or later in the evening for a smooth ride.

    an email about your order in 5 weeks. Pretty sure they went under.

      You turn by shifting your weight from side to side. You stop by releasing the theottle on the remote control. There is also a security strap around your leg if you fall off the engine will stop
