Watched S1 S2 and now S3. Some episodes are a miss but most are quite entertaining for a TV show. What I really enjoy most about Banaza is the fact that it emulates humanity all the good and bad applicable in anytime period or place. And the morals and values human can or cannot embody to either live in harmony or demise. People like the Cartwrights only exist in TV movies and fairy tales but at least it gives humanity a sense of a better world we all can live in if we were more like the Cartwrights -- their honor humility and openmindedness.

I'm expecting that she just switched them when she sneezed because her circus background allowed her to smell the scam, but she still had to trust that there was one real gem. Let's see... When they talked about the river property, I wondered about flooding but didn't expect 6 feet deep! :D I should have foreseen Hoss picking up the 500 lb weight, but I didn't until he stood beside it. Perfect! :D I don't get the "trying to stop the appraiser" by stealing it. If she didn't know it was fake (or who stole it), she would send the law after them. They wasted an opportunity for a good scene of her explaining how she knew that it was a scam. Well, that quickly turned silly! I like how Ben won the shell game! A "two for one" punch. :D Someone had fun writing and choreographing this one! Ah, they saved her explanation for the end, but by then it was anti-climactic.

@@jadezee6316 It was more fun that way! By letting Mr. Axe and Mr. Morgan think they out smarted another victim while this time it was really them who was fooled. Besides I bet Clementine knew they would be back for the Burma Rarity.

Hmmm... Reno was founded in 1868. The land outside the dining room window of the Ponderosa house keeps changing. In previous episodes it was semi-desert. Actually, a lot of scenes are in semi-desert land not the Pine tree place. A lot of the dialog uses 20th century colloquialism, words or phrases not used in the 19th century, even less so in the Old West. Also, the men's haircuts are 60ish style, like with Little Joe and Adam; very common for Hollywood. Oh well... This episode was Ok, a little funny, I guess. Joan Staley in the role as a saloon hustler was great. A fascinating character. This could be an episode centering on her. Really fascinating character. Parts of the episode had a comedy silent movie feel. A lot of sight gags, like Hoss going under the horse tie instead of around it. Actress Beatrice Kay looking at the camera, Oliver Hardy style. That was interesting.
