How To Install Rhino 7 + Grasshopper in Linux (Works 100%)

In this video, I'll show you how to install Rhino 7 + Grasshopper. It works perfectly 100%.
Before start, make sure you have installed the latest stable wine and winetricks in your system. You also need to download the latest Rhinoceros 7 from the website and activate your 90 days trial license:

Just in case you need the graphic acceleration, Do This Only AFTER INSTALL Finished Perfectly with license key:
env WINEPREFIX="~/.rhino7" winetricks
--> select the default wineprefix
--> change settings
--> you can choose between "renderer=gl" or "renderer=vulkan"
--> then press OK
--> close winetricks
Now, you should have graphic acceleration.

I get error-200 Rhino license manager initialization failed. Rhino will not run. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

create a new rhino account with new email, then activate the license online via that email. You will get 90 days license. Hope that helpful

Haven't tried that. But in theory if you install the winetricks' dependencies as I mentioned in the video. It should work

@@nataliadeleon6948 try to install MS Edge latest version first in wine, then install rhino 8. But I can't guarantee if it will work

Make sure that your installer have been fully downloaded (not partially downloaded), and follow this video from the beginning. Do not skip any steps to ensure it works. The most important part is the wine version, winetricks version and winetricks components. They are the most crucial part.
