The improvements are showing, especially after an injury, it's so nice to see. Some missed volleys at crucial moments though... Funny to see it's the opposite strength for his fellow RUclipsr Jules Marie, who lacks baseline power but excels at the net. Hopefully you guys will meet one day at an ITF 40 or 60... or even a Challenger !

Congratulations Felix. I'm impressed with the maturity of your thought processes throughout the game. It's important to know when you're being overconfident and when the other player is on a roll and has to be stopped. Good work for such a young fellow. On the technical side I noticed two things in this video. Firstly, particularly in the first set, you were hitting much better angles than last year. Making the opponent move. Compliments to Ashley for getting that sorted out. Secondly, you have a weakness when you run more than four steps. For ordinary shots, where you have to move around the ball one or two steps you've got a success rate of over 90%. For shots where you have to move four or five steps (side to side) then you're down to around 50%. You have to work on your consistency there. Coming forward you're ok, good pace, good control. But side to side, that's a flaw. Good luck on your journey.

I see the progress of the last year mate. It is really insightful what your thoughts and recap is of your matches. I am in my last leg of becoming tenniscoach myself and find it so inspirational how you and Ashley think about tennis and bring it down to earth. Good match and keep up. The best is yet to come and keep focussed on the right intention when hitting the ball.

Great match,i would say one thing ive noticed is the lack of an extra step on the backhand return, you often get caught too upright and the ball will curve into your body which results in a lot of shank returns. So basically after the split step, you cross your feet at usual but then there is no additional shuffle back or forwards depending on the serve speed and depth. I feel it was exposed especially today because the other guy seemed to have a lot of action on his 2nd.

Congratulations! Excellent win. It looks like a routine score but the 2nd set was anything but routine! As so often in tennis, just a couple of points in it. I admire how you're looking to enjoy the journey, regardless of where it ends up. I think that's the best approach you can take in any case. The more that you're looking to enjoy the competition and hit the ball well, the more likely it is that the off court work will result in good shots under pressure, of which you made quite a few today.

That backhand volley miss on match point is super devastating, which I personally did many times :(, it is so bad that it get stuck in your head.
But hats off to you, you shook everything off and concentrated on the coming points, well done
    Allez Felix

Like the overall scorebug design this video! Only thing is I would change is the caps consistency with the names (either both be all caps or title caps)
Also lol just saw this court is named after Tsitsipas haha
