Y’all were RIPPING serves - great play by both teams. I’m still a little shocked Gage was hitting that angle on his serve without wind at all. Love seeing the bigger court and side out scoring. Just opens the game up to everyone - weird seeing a final with basically 1 block
@@doublesonly4 I don't play much anymore. Most of the people I used to play with either died, are too hurt to play, or their kids have grown up and no longer play volleyball. But it's still fun to see groups of people I used to play with, whether we last played two years ago or two decades ago. One of the videos mentioned playing until midnight. I see that hasn't changed. I remember playing almost that late at the Pottstown Rumble. Fun times... enjoy them while you can!
Damn killer serves!! Also, I was wondering what's the court size and net height since I'm not familiar with grass volleyball. It would be great if anyone could help me with that. Great game!
This is lighting in a bottle. Lemme know when y’all come in to Atlantic City for the NEXT Gold (if). I am there Monday to Monday and will be hitting up Central Park Courts in NYC (field trip). I think kids and adults alike would love your presence.
@@OutofSystemOfficial lol neither do they hahaha! They are a combination of indoor players, intermediate level players and working stiffs. Humid days, warm, party-worthy nights. Very much like Hawaii, I suppose.
You’re not using the right shoes. Regular cross trainers won’t have any grip, but actual cleats are typically outlawed at these tournies. So you need to get turf shoes branded for another sport. The two best ones are typically turf based ball or turf/HG (hard ground) soccer shoes. Have lots of small studs/ribs on the bottom, but not big cleats.

Sometimes Gage gets lucky hahaha and yeah blocks were rare, cause of the level of offense
