    I stood up Sheryl when asked if you will be CEO of this company. In my very first job I was being interviewed by the President of a Sports Memorabilia company and I told him I want, and will have your job some day. At that moment he hired me and took me under his wing and mentored me for the next seven year. After my husbands a job relocation I had to leave the company and seek work in the unforgiving "real world", I struggled to get that confidence back and still do. Your book Lean In and TED Talks and other speeches have inspired me to be that strong person again and SIT AT THE TABLE. - Thank you!

    She is getting bad comments from men and good comments from all women.
    We have an example, just here, of why it is difficult for women to gain credibility.
    And by the way, she has a Havard MBA…. and that’s not because of quota of women…
    Guy, finish your MBA, and then I will give you some credibility to your comment.

    The best that I can comprehend it as is men see everything in the competitive terms of winners & losers.. including gender roles. And they see that if women's accomplishments & issues are being acknowledged than women are "obviously winning" (getting their way) which must mean men are "loosing." Being the loser is upsetting & threatening, because loosing means their being dominated rather than dominating. It doesn't really make sense to me but that is my guess of what (some) men are feeling

    Great points. Sandberg does, however, paint stereotypes of men to promote her argument against stereotypes of women. Not all men are aggressive alpha males or automatically encouraged to lead. Discrimination and politics is real - some even stemming from affirmative action.

    Does her authoritative decisiveness ever cross over into unheeding callousness I wonder, pardonable due to the sense of underlying brittleness she projects? Like a stack of fine bone China teacups,rattling away gratingly, but to be taken seriously just because of its costliness? Is this good form?

    show me a single women who has invented a new thing like men, women are good at telling stories and memorizing other's people's work and books. men have the initiative and the brain power that brings about new things. she is so jealous of men and I can see the frustration on her face caused by women's inability to do what men can do.

      Naqib Naderi your dishwasher was invented by Josephine Cochrane, your windshield wiper was created by Mary Anderson, Kevlar - Stephanie Kwolek, the game monopoly - Elizabeth Magie, fire escapes - Anna Connelly, the medical syringe that will one day save your ass when you're suffering from some ailment or the other - Letitia Geer, CCTV Cameras - Marie Van Brittan Brown and several other women that your ignorant ass could NEVER compare to.

    • @NQBN
      @NQBN 9 лет назад

      hahha, Dishwasher, windshield wiper. hahha. you forgot the biggest contribution, the women give birth to genius men and beautiful angels like you women. In fact, I love the way you have responded to me. I wanted to provoke some women here. I love it when women are authoritative. looking forward your answer.

    • @MrLlamasarethebest
      @MrLlamasarethebest 9 лет назад +1

      As a woman, I definitely did not forget that women give birth.

      Susan Bells, +Naqib Naderi Inspired by Joel Houghton's 1850 machine that simply splashed water on
      dishes, Josephine Cochran decided to make something more efficient
      for dish-washing. She did not invent it she improved it BIG BIG difference
      Mary Anderson Patented the idea but it is believed after her fathers death he was the one that invented it not her and quite a few back up story's atone to this.
      Poly-paraphenylene terephthalamide - branded Kevlar - by Polish-American chemist Stephanie Kwolek
      while working for DuPont, in anticipation of a gasoline shortage. In 1964, her ???"GROUP"??? began searching for a new lightweight strong fiber to use for light but strong tires.
      I'D LIKE TO POINT OUT GROUP and DuPont own the Patent not her.
      Charles Darrow Invented Monopoly in it's current form but Elizabeth Magie did invent The Landlord's game and not Monopoly
      On May 7, 1878, the fire escape ladder was patented by Joseph Winters. This was followed by the portable fire escape ladder, which was invented on
      November 11, 1890, by Daniel McCree of Chicago. One of the first fire escapes of any type was invented in 18th-century England: In 1784, Daniel Maseres, of England, invented a machine called a fire escape, which, being fastened to the window, would enable anyone to descend to the street without injury.
      The first piston syringes were used in Roman times. During the 1st century AD Aulus Cornelius Celsus mentions the use of them to treat medical complications in his De Medicina.9th century AD
      1650: Blaise Pascal invented a syringe (not necessarily hypodermic) as an application of what is now called Pascal's law.1844: Irish physician Francis Rynd invented the hollow needle and used it to make the first recorded subcutaneous injections, specifically a sedative to treat neuralgia.1853: Charles Pravaz and Alexander Wood developed a medical hypodermic syringe with a needle fine enough to pierce the skin.
      Alexander Wood experimented with injected morphine to treat neuralgia. He and his wife became addicted to it. His wife was the first woman to die of an injected drug overdoseANY IDIOT CAN FILE A PATENT and that is what Letitia Geer did she didn't invent anything but just filed a Patent
      The first CCTV system was installed by Siemens AG at Test Stand VII in Peenemünde, Germany in 1942, for observing the launch of V-2 rockets.The noted German engineer Walter Bruch was responsible for the technological design and installation of the system.
      Marie Van Brittan Brown invented the home security system buying a camera and installing it with a coax to the tv is a big step from inventing it DUMBASS.
      So Not one of these women invented SHIT so Naderi statment is correct.

    • @NQBN
      @NQBN 9 лет назад +1

      Tony W Susan Bells , Thank you very much Tony W. your information was very accurate and helpful. Hopefully Susan understands the truth by now. I respect women and they have contributed alot to the advancement and civilization of humans, however, they have not invented anything, there are a few billionaire women who are TV hosts and a few of them work at tech industries such as Sheryl Goldberg and a few more. these women are there because those men who are the owners of those Tech companies are kind enough to hire women in order to empower women. otherwise there are many many people with a worthless degree like these women in every corner. the fact the " empowerment of women" is dependent to the will of men. guess who empowers women and who gives these rights to women. the answer is men. anyways, theses are all the facts that we admit, nothing against women.

    This is too gimmicky ...not trying to be rude, but being highly educated means nothing. There is no correlation to being good in school and being good at work. None.
