Sweet! VERY happy to see this type of video! I did the same thing, but only engaged the Boost to be ON, leaving the Drive at 0 and Bright at off. For "boost" needs, I found it worked the best when placed in between Amp and Cab block. But, when it comes to "tone" itself, the Kinky really excels before the Amp, at least to my ears. You can create a volume boost in million different ways and places! Thanks again Josh, I very much enjoyed this A/B/C comparison!

@@JoshGordonGuitar you're way too kind! Yes, absolutely, please do more of these! Especially on signal chain (dis)order, Modulation blocks especially. For most of them it's REALLY hard to say what's the "best" position
I feel like it depends on what you want, before the amp it kinda changes the way the amp gets hit, after the amp it feels a bit more boost like, it really depends if the amp is driven or not to me

The Kinky Boost is based on the Xotic EP Booster
I mean with a real amp you would always put the pedals before the amp. So I see no reason to do it any different on the pod go.
Sure, but didn’t you notice the change in tone when the KB was placed after the amp block? I sure did in my headphones at least 😁
