Hi Wayne! I've been following your builds for quite some time now; I always enjoy your presentation and humor. I am looking forward to your Victory build the most; as I am a wooden ship modeler (put on hold the last four years due to life's little issues) and I can recommend THE best reference (other than visiting the real ship, of course) is John McKay's "The 100-Gun Ship Victory" in The Anatomy of the Ship series. I was using my copy to build the HMS Victory completely from scratch. I paid around 25 USD for my brand new copy from Ebay. Keep up the good work, and best wishes always from the land-locked state of Nebraska!
Ahh Thanks Folsom. That's another state I want to visit. I am trying to work my way around all the American states. Did Minnesota a couple of years ago so you never know. I may be there one day.
man i got a long way to go on my delorean im only at issue 10 , and i started the db5 my first 2 packs had dust on them:P when i got em. i would love to try my hand at that same boat just money. i can say you got me excited building these models.
Let’s face it, that’s a smart little box! Enjoy your trip to Portsmouth Wayne, my home town although I now reside in Cornwall. I used to walk by the Victory every day when I worked there. Last time I saw it the masts were dismantled to the first level for refurbishment/restoration. Have fun. 👍
I have to agree that the detail in this model is amazing. Model mods did you a favour with the flux capacitor so you've not got that to worry about. I got to paint parts of the HMS VICTORY back when I was a sea cadet. Part of ongoing preservation. Enjoy your visit Wayne.
That's a neat looking box I'm waiting to get my first issue a building the DeLorean I got a long way to go after that don't they LOL but at least I can use your videos as I build my DeLorean that's the best part leather build thanks again
So, we now know why the extended issues are going to take 30 extra weeks to put together. Apparently issue 132 contains a single sleeper for the tracks, and absolutely nothing else. So expect about 8 issues in total during the extended run to be nothing but a single sleeper. If you want to see a photo of it, head on over to worldofwayne.proboards.com/thread/247/spoiler-alert-upcoming-extended-editions Then there's about 6 sections of the track itself, which will probably also be given to us one piece at a time, with nothing else, and the 16 faux riveted bits that make it look like the track is bolted to the sleepers. Add to that 1 or 2 hood box components interspersed at random intervals and you'll have your 30 issues done. So quite a rip off, but my son would disown me if I didn't convert the thing into the 1885 edition DeLorean.
Hey Wayne I love watching all your builds. Very informative, and relaxing. With that being said (or typed actually) I have a few questions: How do acquire all these kits? Do you buy them yourself, or are they donated? As I'm pretty certain you don't work for multiple competing companies. Also I have a list of cars and 3 motorcycles I think these companies should make models of. Tell me what you think 1/8 scale cars 1. 1957 BMW 507 2. 1954 Maserati A6 GTS 3. 1966 Jaguar XJ13 3 4. 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO 5. 1968 Lamborghini Muira SV 6. 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB 7. 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO 1/4 scale motorcycles 1. 1957 BSA Goldstar 2. 1961 BMW R50/2 3. 1949 Vincent Black Shadow
The Ferrari's would be awesome. I like the Black Shadow too :D I have to pay for all of these builds. I do have a "day job" so it takes up my income. On occasions where builds are sent to me I make it known in the video. The only ones like that so far were the Thunderbird 2 and Rossi's M1.
To answer your question on what happened to the xmas tree/flux. Those things are more complicated than a box that does nothing. EM probably has a low budget electrical team.
Just letting you know, those of us getting this through the newsagents in Australia will NOT be getting the whitewall tires or the extend issues. Thank you Eaglemoss for your kind non support.
Wayne, what build group would you recommend on FB? I was going to join the official Eaglemoss group but I wasn't down with the rule of not mentioning certain modders or RUclipsrs (including you). Haven't got my first issue yet but I did get the modelmodz flux, SID board, magazines and letters and the power mod also Mike Lane's carpet and instrument panel. Thanks for giving them a shout out!
@@WorldofWayneUK I get it. I would suggest iModeler for showing your finished work though. Wonderfully free from politics and sour attitudes! Thanks for this series. Not too keen on the extended subscription but it will be neat to be able to reconfigure the car for different movies. (I really like Mike's magnetic license plate idea!)
I've been thinking about doing that one myself but I'm in Canada and the US/Canada exchange rate is terrible. Could end up being very expensive. Maybe in a month or two.
Hey Wayne diamond select is coming out with Back to the Future 1/10 scale figures. I'm thinking about doing the DeLorean. I need to ask you do the wheels flip up like in Back to the Future 2 flying mode?
Also, my thoughts exactly on the incredible detail on most of the car except on the Flux. Why would they put so much care and time into parts you don't even see, like the engine and everything, but the *most important part* looks worse than on every other Delorean model ever made. Even the 1:15 plastic car's looks better
Wayne I've had an email this morning regarding the James Bond Astin Martin DB5, are you going to add that he to your collection or not bother. I started collecting years ago and got to issue 15, then they stopped sending me them, so after 3 months of no issues I cancelled.
Sorry I should have waited till the end of your video before commenting, hope your having fun in Portsmouth, my dad and grandfather were from Southsea, my grandad worked on the tugs from 14 years old.
hope bismarck 19 is more involved than 18 and are we assembling the head in terminator 18 using a prt we got back in terminator 1 part 1-7 the head connector
Hi Wayne, hope you’re good. Are you still waiting for 130/131 from newsagents? Any idea what’s going on with that please mate as I’m still waiting. However, I got 132 last Thursday. 🤔
hi Wayne do you or any one you know want a spare plutonium box still in the bags can have it after next week when I get the last parts do's not interest me great video
PH0 is Philips No. 0 00 is smaller, and 000 is smaller still. PZ0, PZ00 would be the Pozzi version. There is another.... JIS, I read somewhere that JIS fits Philips better. Typical of the Japanese, take something and do it better.

And there's Wayne's understatement for the year. XD

Lol. I age quickly building these pmsl
very good video WORLD
In Germany , Issue 79 is out now. It's gonna be another Year, to finish the Car here.
Your question is perfectly framed! What indeed happened to the Flux Capacitor and the Christmas Tree!?

Hi Wayne if you dont mind me asking did you get issue 130 of the delorean this week as I have ask on the build group got no response
No its wasnt in my newsagents. Ganna try again at the weekend.

I try not to get involved in groups now. Too political although Chloe and Corries group is cool. I have no idea of the web address though.

Great Scott its olmost done
"really tiny PP"

lol :D
I'm glad someone pointed that out. When I heard him say that, I almost spit out my Mt. Dew!
Wayne you are doing a fantastic job with this build. How about tackling DeAgostini's McLaren MP4/4 driven by Ayrton Senna.
I've been thinking about doing that one myself but I'm in Canada and the US/Canada exchange rate is terrible. Could end up being very expensive. Maybe in a month or two.
How much does it cost in total to do this? I've never heard of this before, what a fantastic thing to do!
In total about £8.99 x 130
Was gonna start building this when it started but when i worked it out it was cheaper to buy a real delorean!!!
lol. The cheapest Delorean I have seen at the moment is $45000
Hey Wayne diamond select is coming out with Back to the Future 1/10 scale figures. I'm thinking about doing the DeLorean. I need to ask you do the wheels flip up like in Back to the Future 2 flying mode?
yep. Although they can be temperamental staying in that position
@@WorldofWayneUK Great Scott ! excellent! Thanks for replying to my messages I appreciate that a lot of RUclipsrs don't reply

Cheers Wayne another great vid but I have some catching up to do since I've got back from the US 😁😁😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍
i hope you do start the db5 ive built my delorean along with you so will be good to do the db5 with you aswell

I will need to review finances lol

Did you see the video of Dan Aykroyd in wich he first saw the ECTO-1 from Eaglemoss ? Just search for "herocollector Dan Aykroyd" on RUclips !
Just watched it. That is truly awesome
131 is only free to hook you onto buying the extension as you'll have parts that do absolutely nothing unless you carry on, Sneaky Psychology.
hope bismarck 19 is more involved than 18 and are we assembling the head in terminator 18 using a prt we got back in terminator 1 part 1-7 the head connector
nice vid, take care \o/

are you still there 130?
Yep. Although I'm still waiting for 130. Its 2 weeks late so far

Personally I would write a complaint on Twitter and tag @eaglemossltd . You normally get a response there.
Great channel, but... Wayne, clean your nails please ;)
Lol never mix gardening with model building
Good thing I don't do videos, I'm a car mechanic and I can NEVER get my nails as clean as Wayne's!
