I feel like these fragrance companies/houses are turning into a Shein/Temu, just mass producing stuff daily and not good quality nor interesting. Fragrance used to be art to me like a Van Gogh painting, like visiting an art museum and admiring the artist's work, one of a kind, now it's like going to the dollar store and looking at the paintings they have, if you know what I mean/understand what I'm trying to say.
Love your eyeshadow. Good seeing your reviews again and I agree about not jumping in straight away with new releases. With as many fragrances I own I feel there are too many similarities with many of them. lol I'm trying to focus on using what I have.
Your eyeshadow is 🔥. Those colors look fab on you! I’ve come so close to blind buying the Cirque du Soleil fragrance so many times. I’ve seen more rave reviews than bad reviews. I may wait a bit to see if it ever gets discounted.

I should point out that some of the bad reviews weren’t that the fragrance was bad itself but that it was a generic vanilla, it’s not a stand out, or it’s overpriced for what it is. But I have been reading some positive ones and some ppl pointed out that it should have been released in fall which I do think is a major factor for some, like me. Definitely keeping my eye out for a decant/sample.

Although I must say the new releases are coming at us so damn fast, that it is hard to keep up, like for real! Luckily I am more of a designer girl for now. So the new fragrances that have peeked my interest lately where: Prada Paradoxe Virtual Flowers...but the reviews on fragrantica aren't that good...so I want to smell her in store first. Oscar de la Renta has 3 new Alibi flankers en I am really interested in the green flanker oh so Lucky, mainly because I really enjoy the alibi eau sensuelle as a cosy/bedtime scent...such a unexpected beauty! Now the other 2 releases I am/was excited about are YSL Libre flowers and flames & the latest l'interdit black flanker called l'interdit absolu and I managed to get my hands on them early and let me tell you...both are good, so I am a happy girl for now 😊 Curious about the burberry goddes intense as well...but that is one I want to test in store first as I wasn't wowed by the original Goddes

Yes, I think closer to fall I will try a decant first. Most recently I saw some positive reviews but I try and pull reviews from different sources online and they’re definitely mixed.
Cirque is a beautiful long lasting perfume i just got a 10ml and when i tell you it's a love for me, i sprayed it on one arm last night when i woke up this morning i could stay smell it, no woodsy smell at all.
Hi Beca! I love Angel Nova edt but don’t like the edp. I bought Juice Expressive and love it which makes me think it’s different from Angel Nova. That’s all I can say! 😅😂 I also bought Bare Magnolia and it’s pretty but I was a bit underwhelmed by it. I was mad at myself for falling for the hype to be honest. I’m not familiar with Victoria’s Secret perfumes and I feel like it’s a category under designer… not complex and not long lasting on me unfortunately. It’s a great bedtime scent in my case. I think I’d prefer JHAG’s Magnolia if I had to buy a magnolia fragrance again.
I did end up getting the travels so I hope I get something different too! 🫶🏼 I’ve been hearing similar comments on VS Bare Magnolia so I think I might pass. I love JHAG Magnolia Bliss 💕
Agree all these designer perfumes are just copy’s of each other. But I did sample VS Bare Magnolia and fell in love with it. It’s elegant, warm floral. I’m saving up money to purchase it.
was soooo excited for Juice. blind bought all 3 scent spaces in 100ml bottles... was suuuuper disappointed 😢 more floral then fruity, more tart and sour then sweet, a little soapy and too musky. Juice- gave musky, musty fruity B O vibes. kinda like what you get from a cheap peach body spray. Juice (Expressive) didn't even last an hour on my skin, which at $145... was highly disrespectful 😒 Juice+ was floral, fruity laundry detergent, potpourri vibes. the drydown of the Bold was amazing but overall i was not at all impressed with Juice.

love Prada Paradoxe Virtual Flower. i grabbed the 100ml $140 refill bottle and made my own travel atomizer cuz i already have 50ml bottles of the original and Intense versions. the bottles look exactly the same so i figured I'd just get the juice and refill an empty.
@rebecacollazo i can't wait for your review on Virtual Flower. it was a love at first sniff for me, but i can definitely see uber fans of the original or Intense not liking the new one. for me, it's super fresh, clean, lite and airy, but still long lasting. gorgeous natural, realistic floral opening. almost soapy, like taking a shower outside in the rain in a flower garden. then this honeydew, almost bubble gum powdery sweetness kicks in. ugh, i love it lol. simplified and stripped down from the original, definitely feels like the younger sibling in the Paradoxe family, but not juvenile. classy, flirty, carefree sibling scent.
@@rebecacollazo I'm in PR and my daughter is a resident pediatrician and she "stole" it from me so that her little patients could smell it and create scent memories too. That's how much it smells like those things.
@@rebecacollazo Yes, when she left for her residency, we looked at all the 500+ perfumes and I gave her all that smelled of things kids would like and also all clean/skin for the days she shouldn't wear anything. She's an only child so, everything is hers anyway, might as well use them and create memories and be the "doctor that smells like cherry or chewing gum or chocolate or popcorn"
So many perfumes smell the same nowadays..and I don't get why some brands need to realise like 10 perfumes at ones. Some of these sound nice like this new Angel.. I never got to smell Bikiniseason so I'm exited about this realise 😊
Yeah that cirque de soleil one is horrible. A Lolita Lempicka licorice disaster. I predict those will end up at tj maxx. They’re shady for not doing testers.
@rebecacollazo I would be happy to provide one. I find it wonderful on a cool day. In the heat and in a carnival setting, you just blend into the environment. It is buttery, warm vanilla. I get popcorn in a good way. It's not like old movie theater. I think if it was launched in fall/winter, it would have been better received.

I would try and get a decant of Cirque if you can. It 's lovely! Probably my next purchase. In my experience I've only seen positive reviews!
