    Much more scenic coming from the East it appears. I flew into NRT from Thailand pretty much looked like the square plots of farmland you see in the US Midwest The Sushi at NRT was pretty spectacular. I made up my mind about 10 hrs out that I was going to eat Sushi at NRT my flying food adventure was to eat Sushi at NRT Pho at Incheon and chicken Chow Mein in Hong Kong . The Sushi was the best.

    Yes, I've been to NRT and also spent the night in the city of Narita. I kept hoping that Godzilla would make an appearance. :)
    Anyhow, time for me to rest up from the jet lag of losing a whole day. I'll use the time to watch today's episode of The Bold and The Beautiful. Liam finally got called out on his wishy-washiness between Hope and Steffy.

      Thankfully Godzilla didn't make an appearance on my trip either. Thanks for watching my friend!

    Great fly! How often do you see passenger with service animal(s) when flying?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Год назад

      Almost every flight. And they're usually right behind me so all you hear is the cat or dog for the entire flight haha.

    If you’re planing to fly to Europe, you should consider taking a 5th freedom flight. Some of them are under 100€.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Год назад +1

      I’ve looked into those. They’re on my list 😁. I am going to be in europe later this year again but have other things planned 🤔😁

      @@certifiedwebmer If you just fly short distances you ain't got no jetleg at all. It starts after 5,6 hours of duration. West to East is tricky. East to West a little easier. When i fly to Australia every year in December ( 10 hours time difference, distance 17.000 km 21hours of airtime ) i need roughly 1week to recover.

      @@nikolauswolff5791Also the 787s cabin is actually meant to reduce jet lag. The cabins pressure is only 6,000 feet which is also on the A350, A330neo, 777 and A380. Also the A320neo family is also meant to reduce jet lag.

    Just noticed theres a shrine literally 30 feet from the threshold you can go visit.(You find shrines right in the middle of big developments in Japan because of the bad luck developers fear by destroying them). Update : it appears the reason the runway is so far into the airport on this approach is due to this shrine blocking it. Update again : Ok, apparently there is a huge and violent past about this airport's development. 🫥

      Yeah, I'm not well versed in all the specifics, but I known Japan and the people who owned farms around the area fought many years about this. And it wasn't always very civil.
