Dennis Kohlrus!!!!!!
Too much beer belly from all Octoberfests xD
I like how Pavlo has that new-generation strongman physique. No power belly to be seen or too much fat.
Depends on how Heavy the show is, in the arnolds or shaw classic, the heavy dudes have more Change to win.
If he had a slight one he do better on deadlift
@@marijnroelofs7663 in Arnolds he have no chance for top spots.
Or Shaw Classic
@@santiagosteven6105 A gut doesn't help on deadlifts lol. If anything, it makes it harder to get into position.
Кордіяка круто виступив! Жаль Новіков не заклав останій шар, чисто символічно. Загалом чудовий виступ українців! Слава Україні!
Хероям сала
Watched Eddie's behind the scenes video of the event. He interviewed Oleksii directly after; he still had bits of atlas stone stuck to his palms. The fifth stone was literally crumbling away, which is why he couldn't grip it properly. Hell of a reason to lose the whole event, but that's strongman for you, it aint the Olympics and it aint powerlifting, you gotta work with the implements.
Awesome 👌 👏
Я вболівав саме за Кордіяку. Справжній Український монстр)
@@tava7 Новіков сильно зіпсував собі репутацію дружбою з росіянами, тож я підтримую саме Кордіяку.
❤️❤️
খুব ভালো লাগে
Janashia 🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪
Don't understand how Novikov struggled so much with the last stone. Both men flying and Novikov a little ahead up to that point.
Depends on the tacky
@Michael Winchester he said the ring wasn't an issue, he was having issues with gripping the stone, it looked like the tacky he was using wasn't gripping
@@michaelwinchester8153 he said also was having stones issues in training
its only because of the height disadvantage. Novikov is not as tall as the other Ukrainian guy and that was the difference. If you are tall you have longer arms which is a huge advantage and also the platforms are quite high. If you are small you cant win in the stone event. That's why Shaw and Bjronsson where that good stone lifters because they are so tall. But Kordiyaka is a deserved winner. It's really amazing that he has that much power because he seems to be not as heavy as the other guys and he kind of came out of nowhere. He looks more than 10 years older like all strongman but he's thinner than the other guys..or less fat...
@@CosmosZeroX u say that but Oleksii in recent GL comps has got times 18 to 22 seconds issue with him I think is he gases out quickly, also I think he isn't using the right tacky
How much do the stones weigh?
It's in the description- 100kg-180kg (20kg increases)
@@tashcow90 thanks
If they're going to make atlas stones so important in big strongman comps there needs to be some kind of standardization where we aren't seeing the timing/choice of a variable sticky substance have such a huge affect on outcomes.
Rogue approach: no tacky at all and stones with perhaps more natural shapes
I wanna see the tossing event again, maybe with lighter stones.
It's nice to see some variation
А камни какого веса то? Неужели трудно на экран вывести
100kg-180kg (+20kg)
@@lazerix1986 спасибо!
Loved this event! But they did Bishop dirty -- added 2 seconds to his actual time. The coaches should time their athletes independently to ensure errors like this don't happen...
It looked for me the same for Aivars, when he put that stone on it was 19 seconds on clock.
@Toms Strazdiņš Aivars still got the quickest time regardless
It’s based on when their hands leave the last stone they’ve touched. I remember in a GL a few years ago one bloke did an amazing time, but he kept his hands on the stone while he rested. The timer kept going lol
@@beardedbjorn5520 i know all that, but here hands went off immediatly
@@tomels8 oh damn, I'm going to have to watch it again
2 Ukrainian man 🇺🇦💪
Ukraine dominates.
I can't take any more of Neil's shouting.
I know it’s only a laugh but calling Pa O’Dwyer “sexy” is so unprofessional and diminishes the sport for me. Can you imagine a commentator saying that in football or golf? GL are great but they need to improve the commentary drastically if this sport is going to be taken seriously
Yeah I agree it was unprofessional. These guys know each other very well and are too friendly to each other, that's why stuff like that comes out.
To i tak by nic nie dało xd
I'm always entertained by how the announcer announces names! Of course I come here to watch the strongmen compete and view some of my favorite competitors but sometimes I get a good laugh at how the names are said/pronounced!
Still won't forget the time they were announcing Terry Hollands and the announcer said "TERRRRYYYYY HAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaa"
Neil just forgets all the vowels at the end of their names. Gavin BILLLLLLlllllllllllll
Oleksii was so dialed in at this competition, he just happened to have an unfortunate tacky malfunction right at the last stone. Despite the momentary disappointment, he shows how incredible his sportsmanship is. He is just happy that Ukraine took the victory and still showed his support for Pavlo
starke Leistung @Dennis Kohlruss . durch die Leistung bei den Stones noch die Top10 geknackt
Too much beer belly from all Octoberfests xD
Oleksii must be devastated - can't help but be reminded of last year's WSM final where he was winning but it all went wrong in the last two events
He gassed out way to quickly didn't save himself for the power stairs but tbh I think he would have lost on the stones anyway
janashia luchshii👍👍👍
Umagresi da saamako
Gonna comment on every event I see this happening…..The athletes shouldn’t have to worry about balancing the items! 😓
Sorry to say, but Smith was just out of his league in this competition.
Well he was a late alternate, was focused on training for worlds.
Smith is usually alright but has been focusing his energy on WSM he doesn't want to get injured
Giants live need an influx of money, the RUclips page honestly is repetitive and the dates are off, also the show needs to be modernized a bit and the staff needs to be more mixed with people from all around, it's a bit too British if you ask me, Arnold is kinda beating you guys with the innovation, if you got a big sponsor maybe Red bull that would be amazing
The staff are all volunteers, that's why they're mostly British. And if you think they need money, pay for the shows and merch and then tell a friend to do the same. That's how a business grows. Can't just expect big businesses to sponsor such a small sport.
Do realise it's easy for the Arnold's because they run their event with the expo, where as GL hire a venue for a certain amount of time. It's not as simple as you think, but also, GL is a faster paced show than Arnold's, I get so bored sometimes watching the Arnold's due to long an event can take, like Stone Throw that took way too long I was so bored I turned it off
I'm just surprised that the sport is not getting sponsorships based on the RUclips viewings they are not that small of a sport
@Danilo strunjas you must not be a sports person. Strongman is an extremely small sport when compared to Soccer, Football, Baseball, Basketball, even Golf or Tennis. And their youtube numbers ain't that great.
