So many of my favorite creators split their 18s into seperate 9 hole videos. Every time your front nine scorecard comes on screen I think the video is over.. then I see the time remaining and it makes me happy 🙂 Love your content dude.
Haha thanks Big Al. I have some matches coming up that will be split 9 & 9, but when it's just me in the vids I like being able to show the whole course in 10 mins or less :)
@@NotAScratchGolfer I’m from the peninsula but yeah there are great courses all over the bay! If you haven’t played them already I’d highly recommend Deep Cliff in Cupertino or Crystal Springs in Burlingame. Also a couple cool 3 par courses are Emerald Hills in Redwood City (surprisingly challenging) and also Mariners Point in Foster City; that place is especially cool since they light the whole course up until about 10pm so if you’re ever in the area you can literally sneak in a quick nine with like an 8pm tee time!
@@grahamlarsen2082 Wow, thanks so much for the recommendations. I haven't played any of these and I hadn't heard about Deep Cliff or Emerald Hills! I'll be sure to get out to these in the future!
Another great video, thank you. Now, a tip from a wannabee, if your under a tree, don't wanna go left, or right, but under? What to do? Driver! Yes driver. Choke down almost off of the grip, and a good STFF putting stroke, brisk and hard no back swing, but a poke at the ball. Like you have an impossible hundred foot put, just poke at it. Like any other judgement shot, not a full club, how hard you poke is how far do you want it to run. Stays down under the tree and runs almost or as far as you want it to. Have fun with it. Hey, if Tiger can hit a three wood off the fringe, why can't we poke a driver out from under a tree. Ask yourself, kick it out to the side fifty yards or so, or poke it down the fairway a hundred or two hundred yards. Good luck y'all. 😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great content as always. I'm solidifying my theory that the most important part of your game is lag putting. All the haters that say "you're not a 7/8" definitely don't 2 putt from 20+ nearly as much as you do. The rest of the game is above average, but those lags . . . Chef's kiss.
Thanks, man. Indeed, the last time I tracked stats with Arccos it showed that my handicap with the flat stick was a +1-2 whereas everything else in my game hovered around 10. I definitely don't look like a single digit, and the putter is key!
@@NotAScratchGolfer I'd love to hear more of your thought process over lag putts. It's a part of the game that isn't talked about much but is very important.

Enjoying your videos Adam, just a question ... Does your inside take away cause you any back pain? I've had to change the top of my backswing to more vertical because I couldn't last 18 holes without a buggy. (subscribed). 👍⛳
Top Tip - Ditch the 4 wood / hybrid on the par 5's - 16th hole you had 235 to the pin but went for it and ended up in a bunker. Split the distance left by 2 eg that would be 135 and 100 and use a 9 then wedge to get close on the green and have a better chance with birdies and sure fire pars. Trying to get Eagle on a par 5 is V. Difficult - Top PGA Eagle man has only 15 in 55 rounds. Many top Pro's are not even close to that number.
That eagle stat is misleading since most tour pros go for the green in 2 looking for the easy 2 putt birdie. If you are inside your comfortable distances with a wood or hybrid, always go for the green on par 5 trying for that comfy 2 putt birdie.
Thanks, David! I'd love love love love love love to play Stanford again. It's a shame - I was just in the Bay Area a couple of weeks ago. I'll definitely reach out to you the next time I'm there. Would you mind emailing me so I have your contact info? i'm adamsofine at gmail dot com
