This is kind of how I reduced my tbr in the end but without the try a chapter thing. I unhauled lots of books I'd either tried to read at some point and given up on or just books I was no longer interested in. I loved only having books I was really excited for on my shelves :) I love that you kept any book with a murder in the first chapter 😅
Once I started, there was no stopping me! It feels very liberating. When I look at my shelves now, I feel excited about what's there. I didn't realise I was so easily swayed by a dead body 😂🙈
I thought it would be a 50% unhaul so I wasn’t far off. You did amazing with this. Must make you more excited for your shelves now😊 Definitely going to do this!!
Chapter One Dead Body Appreciation Society say hey! 👋 I knew you’d be ruthless with this, amazing work! I did this fairly recently but the unhauled books are still sitting in a corner waiting to actually leave the house, I’m gonna make that my mission for this week. you’re an inspiration!
None of the unhauled books have actually left the house yet.... It'll take a few trips to the charity shop! Clearly, I'm easily pleased, just through a dead body in and I'm hooked 😂
I actually picked this up last week and made it three quarters of the way through before dnfing. I do think it's a good book but ultimately was too disturbing for me.
I loved We Begin At the End. The Poisonwood Bible is fantastic. ( wish I was there to take those copies ) I’ve read all the Rebus. Big fan. Big fan of Denise Mina too.
