I feel the same way. I found an eggnog cookie recipe that even the full-on eggnog haters in my family like! It's on a site called Chef in Training.

My mom and I have made eggnog cake a few times... it's very nice and light and spiced! I've also made homemade eggnog (non-alcoholic, of course), and it's great, but not necessarily worth it all the time to make from scratch. Happy Holidays, everyone!

You can make eggnog without alcohol? I am Muslim so I don't drink and have never tried it.
@@naimairfan5738 Yes, you can! You can either buy pre-made eggnog, which usually is non-alcoholic, or make your own. There are some great recipes out there. I hope you can enjoy some soon!

I'd bet 1000% that Andrew's next video upload is, "I tried to recreate Rie's eggnog dish."
I can actually see eggnog being used to treat disease. The creamy milk could help a sore throat and the cinnamon and nutmeg can help with inflammation and kill stuff. Then the alchohol can help relax you so you can rest easy plus kill germs. Additionally milk is really good for hydration but I dunno if that's still true after it is creamed.
But then dairy makes congestion and mucus worse so maybe not the best 🤔

she probably does a lot of testing because no recipe is perfect the first time, especially if you're using an ingredient you haven't tried before haha

I would loved to have tried this! I love eggnog. My two youngest kiddos (19&20) and I can't wait until they start putting it out in the stores each year. Family thing...eggnog, cookies and watching The Santa Claus movie each year. So this masterpiece that Rie made would have been the best ever in our house.❤

Humble brag : Rie actually made my idea into a video, in the video where she made ravioli fancy, i suggested that she make baby food fancy since she was pregnant, and she actually did. Its just sad that they didnt credit me, or atleast mention that its a viewer's suggestion but its no biggie

Love "Make It Fancy" and I love eggnog so I'm disappointed that Rie didn't try homemade eggnog (which is 100% times better than store-bought) and decide to do something with a homemade recipe.

I love eggnog by itself so much. I know typically it's served alcoholic but I'm not much of an alcohol person so I enjoy eggnog on its own. It satisfies my sweet tooth. But I can completely understand why many people don't like eggnog. It's super rich, creamy, and eggy which doesn't appeal to many people.
I get so excited during the holidays since Starbucks has their eggnog latte.

We know she lived in NYC and the LA area. So she had an availability of familiar ingredients.

If it were me, I would have made an egg nog pan a cotta on a bed of gingerbread cookie crumbs. I haven’t finished the episode yet so I’m excited to see what she makes!
