To speak very good and sound proper, English is spoken on daily basis and practically in majority of interviews in india. While malayalam actors in kerala, Spanish or Chinese or polish actors don't need to that and they do their interviews in their mother tongue. This is prevalent in bollywood whereas others in india speak their mother tongue. When they speak english they have accent that are made fun off. I guess they want to sound great and not have any accents so they will be more accepted.

And her acting in "pink panther" - to be honest I felt embarrassed when I watched it with my friends, as I was the only Indian among them and I was so ashamed for her acting. I really think she has only two or three facial expressions. The problem is she is so full of herself ...I mean she could take some acting classes...but she thinks she is a great actress. I seriously don't understand her fascination with her daughter Aaradhya. Like I understand parents love for their kids but she is too much. It's an Indian thing b.c Penelope Cruz doesn't do that not even Jackie Chan. In metropolitan cities there is the need for English proficiency. To speak very good and sound proper, English is spoken on daily basis and practically in majority of interviews in india. While malayalam actors in kerala, Spanish or Chinese or polish actors don't need to that and they do their interviews in their mother tongue. This is prevalent in bollywood whereas others in india speak their mother tongue. When they speak english they have accent that are made fun off. I guess they want to sound great and not have any accents so they will be more accepted.

sorry ananya - but I know her acting, thats why i said she can't act. she wasn't bad in Bansali and mani ratnam movies, but the credit goes to the directors, they can even make a stone act (and God knows how many takes they had to go through). And I happened to see parts of jodha akbar, guzaarish, provoked but couldn't sit through these movies, as she was so awkward. And her acting in "pink panther" - to be honest I felt embarrassed when I watched it with my friends, as I was the only Indian among them and I was so ashamed for her acting. I really think she has only two or three facial expressions. The problem is she is so full of herself ...I mean she could take some acting classes...but she thinks she is a great actress. Back then she was mainly cast for her beauty and not her acting ability....and it becomes apparent now as she doesn't get any more good roles offered...she is getting old and beauty fades away
