Someone told us about Hwy 170 and said it is a beautiful scenic drive when leaving Terlingua, it is a popular road for motorcycles as well with all the curves and hills.
The difference between the nature where you life and southern Texas is amazing. You know I would prefer the north but the south has it’s own beautiness! And then you’ve been 2 weeks on this camping area? Again a super Video Sandra 👍

An abandoned golf course, now that's not something that you see very often!! I'm also a big fan of individually owned restaurants, they can normally tell you a lot about the people there. It is a piece of Americana that I absolutely love. I remember getting off a train in El Paso as I planned to enter Mexico from there, but I took one look across the border and decided that Tijuana seemed much more appealing and I hopped back on the train 😂

I don't think I have been on this road before. I use to do a lot of oil work in TX and have driven a lot of its roads.

We found some amazing restaurants, small off the beaten path, and some of the best food. So much better than the big chain restaurants.
