Wow! She looked like a fashion model with the shaved head. Absolutely beautiful. She has such a perfect head shape for it and her face just shines radiant beauty. Even her jewelry stands out and compliments her shaved head look. I'm sure it takes great confidence to see yourself without hair and know that you are rocking it like a queen. But she can pull it off if she ever decided to in the future.

I just have a question not to be mean or rude, but are these hairstyles leading to the receding hairlines? It seems like all the clients get these lace fronts with hair glue and a good bit of them have hair loss that they're unhappy with. I'm sure that some may have conditions, but I'm wondering if there's a serious pattern here between getting these wigs, lace fronts and glue and them losing their hair over time. I love my sistahs and they deserve the best and I want to see their hair grow if that's what they want for themselves. But are we lying to ourselves here thinking that these types of hairstyles don't have anything to do with hair loss in the long run? Can anyone that gets these types of hairstyles and doesn't experience hair loss chime in? I could be wrong, and this is just a humble question. Thanks
The problem is that millions of people of all race is suffering from hair loss, has nothing to do with the lace frontals or glue, the hair loss is the reason for needing these hairstyles, I know from personal experience
To answer your question yes countless women have thinned out or missing hairlines due to theses kinds of styles. Any style that's too tight can cause traction alopecia(including tight braids, twist, sew-ins). But also things like bonding tapes, hair adhesives, hair glue, wig glue, etc can all snatch out the hair follicles. If these extreme practices are stopped early, the hair can eventually grow back. If not these practices will and can cause permanent damage..This doesn't include those who use relaxers, and use bleach hair dye that's another long list of hair issues when not properly done and cared for
Oan:There are ladies who have medical conditions, have low hormones, who are taking medicines and have certain things like low iron these can cause the hair to be thin and fallout as well.
Hello. Thank you @ ninarobinson8752. I have experienced that also with some of my clients. Not everyone with thinning hair or alopecia is caused by the wigs. Most of the clients have other issues that leads to alopecia and that is when they request to wear the wigs

The wig was perfectly cut, and you went in with the razor and butch it up in my opinion as a haircutter and a colorist however, sometimes you should just keep things simple you pull the hair straight down and cut straight across that cut was done from the nape sectionsI just would’ve preferred if she had done the darker wig.
Thank you for your opinion but she wanted movement she didn’t want stuff hair the wig was only $40 and my opinion I think it looked better after went in and “ butch it up”

In my opinion she never needed to cut her hair. All she needed was a real good shampoo and a very deep conditioner, and trim. She could have twisted up her hair and looked beautiful with her wearing it twisted. She has a beautiful face that would complement a short, twisted style. I've never had anyone put glue into my scalp, so I am beyond surprise that her hair grew with the chemical glued to her head. I'm glad that she removed the wig after three weeks so her scalp could breathe and get some sun.
The wig seemed to shed a lot but that yellow hair on her with the orange purse plus her tattoos is everything and that is my opinion. Great job Carla
