My dear Sudarshan, Though it may appear to be simple with just 3 ingredients, you need expertise in making the rice dough with the correct consistency. You need nimble and delicate fingers to handle the patholi after it is steamed to prevent breaking the soft patholis. Using turmeric leaves is very thoughtful. Apart from flavour it spreads it's natural juices onto the patholis which will be medicinal. We must be proud of of our ancestors is using simple items for handling as well as consumption.
